The glass is bonded to the LCD matrix. Only Cinetronic will have the part.

Every manufacturer uses off the shelf displays to begin with. It is not economically viable to design your own, because of the small numbers needed.
What is proprietary is the housing, controller board, i/o boards and software/firmware.
