  1. Have someone you trust watching your back and wrangling cable. I have worked the Good Morning America Concert Series for ABC the last couple of years. The Concerts have always been in the same spot. Bryant Park NYC. I have walked the stairs leading upto the stage 100 times. This year during one concert, while ON THE AIR I missed a step....had a little bounce on the air and kept on shooting. I didn't go down because Peter Abraham had his hand inside the back of my vest and held me up. :) Regards, Adam Keith www.qvideo.tv

  19. Erwin, I own two Stanton Jibs. One is 10 years old. I never had any trouble with the focus motors. I grant you its not the best motor out but I think the Stanton Steadicam Zoom/Focus System is well worth the money for Steadicam Ops starting out looking for Zoom and Focus for Video lens. Stanton also has excellent Customer Support. Jim Bartell adapted my BFD to work with the Stanton Motor so I can use his System with my Jibs and Steadicam. Stanton has a newer motor out "Stanton Right Angle Motor" that is a little beefier than the old style. Adam Keith

  21. BarTech Utility Zoom (BUZ) The BarTech Utility Zoom is a wired zoom control model currently under development. It will work with any motor, not just zoom motors like other units. It will feature interchangeable control modules that allow the user to customize the unit for their preference. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought that Jim's zoom control was wireless. I copied the above info off his web site. Sorry for the mis-information....but it still sounds good. Adam Keith
