Hello, I have been asking around about the same subject. My understanding so far is that the m2 has a 40lb capacity vs the m1 50lb capacity. Both can probably carry 10 pounds more at the potential expense of performance loss and additional wear and tear/damage to the sled over time. That is per a steadicam sales rep I spoke with.
