  7. I do have the manual. Send me your e-mail address and I can send a PDF. Brad Olander
  8. This is from the Master Series Broadcast manual. It is the entire electronics section. Hope it helps. MSBroadcast.PDF Brad Olander
  9. A hose clamp in your kit is good, cheap insurance for possible gimbal clamp problems. Ugly and inconvenient, but it has saved the day.
  10. If it was detuned, Cinema Products inserted two spacers for lighter loads. (See the black plastic piece in the picture). Remove them, and the arm will have more lift. It is not difficult, but talking to Robert Luna is a great idea. Don't let the cables twist. Good luck.
  11. Have you seen this? GoPro 3D pics at Engadget.com. And from the GoPro website...
  12. Here are a couple of photos of a Model 1 sled, with the Bob DeRose modifications, in low-mode. I had two thumb screws on top of the monitor that allowed you to disconnect the front post, flip it, and attach it to the bottom of the monitor.
  13. My Cine IIIa SuperBright is on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...=STRK:MESELX:IT Thanks, Brad
  14. Here is a more accurate picture. The moire in my initial picture is only in the photo. It is not seen in use. The scratch on the screen is only on the removable anti-reflective coating. Thanks for the questions.
  15. Transvideo CineMonitor IIIA Superbright I have owned this since it was new -- never a rental item. Originally a CineMonitor III, the “guts” and firmware of this monitor have been upgraded with each new Transvideo upgrade. There are some cosmetic scratches and one scratch on the monitor’s protective coating. $2750. All reasonable offers considered. Thanks. Brad Olander brad@olandercamera.com
  16. My eight year old and her friends are well over four feet tall. A meter and a half in Italy I believe. Nearly as tall as Rob Vuona's car. And, they look straight ahead, or down (she's telling me this now). Depends on your motivation, but kids aren't looking up all the time just because we're taller. Good luck, Brad
  17. I bought the SKB trap case (less than $150 delivered from eBay). It's very large compared to the custom anvil cases. Too large, I think. It does have wheels though. Never used it. For sale, by the way, if you're in Southern California. Now, I'm trying this "air case": http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...egoryNavigation It only weighs 15 pounds. It is 64.5 inches H+W+D (4.5 inches over some of the commercial airline restrictions). It has a thin plastic shell with thick foam rubber. Nice protection for around town. I haven't decided whether or not to fly with the sled in it. Maybe one of our New York friends can run down to B&H for a second opinion. Brad
  18. He does have 688 hits -- with his phone number listed twice. Is that worth giving up his rate for a day? It might be.
  19. I highly recommend these (the Keen Targhee): http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDis...vcat=REI_SEARCH They are waterproof, but not too hot to wear in SoCal the rest of the year.
  20. SOLD I have an older Betacam SP camcorder for sale. It could be a great practice camera (and might make money on the side for someone). It?s a JVC KY27U with a Sony PVV-1a back. It has a Fujinon lens and runs on NP-1 batteries. I can include a charger and some older batteries. I live in North County San Diego. I?d prefer not to ship it. I have a few pictures at: https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/474578 $875 for the camera head, deck, lens, and camera mounting plate. Brad Olander brad@olandercamera.com SOLD
  21. Practically new Nebtek Panasonic 7" 16:9 native (switchable to 4:3) color monitor. Paid over $1100 with tax and shipping. $900 takes it. I'll pay shipping (in the continental US) and include boxes and manuals. Specs are here: http://www.nebtek.com/proddetail.php?prod=101NEB70PRO Pictures (scroll down): http://olandercamera.smugmug.com/gallery/474578 Brad Olander
  22. Steadicam zoom and focus controller with motor and gears for Fujinon, Canon, and film lenses. Can be seen at www.jimmyjib.com. Wired handset and extra cable for assistant also included. $1250 with Pelican case. Brad Olander 760 944 4475
