  1. I got the solution. The inner arm, is the Upper Arm section, the one close to the human body.
  2. Hello Guys, Could you help me to understand something, based on the Steadicam Manual: the Upper Arm Section is the arm nearest the human body connected to the socket, the Forearm section is the section with the arm post to connect to the Gimbal handle. Here is my question: What will be the "inner section" (I have red in a post) ? The Upper One or the Forearm one ? I am a bit lost as English is not my native language. And for me, I always thought that they inverted the sections names of Steadicam arm. Any idea ? Marc
  3. Nope. Just bought a real Steadicam M-2, lol !
  4. Oui, bien sûr, quand vous voulez !
  5. Yep, super ! Serez-vous sur Paris ?
  6. Hello guys, I am looking to buy the clamp levers the same they are used on the M1 and M2 to tight the battery rods or monitor rods. Like on the picture included. They have like an index, and a special washer with increment to level up (and tight) the part. I am looking online the manufacturer, without the ability to ask to Tiffen as spare part. The name vary like thumb knot screw, wing thumb screw lever, etc... I am looking them, because I like the function they have: a quarter turn, and its tight ! Any idea, where I can find them online and/or to a manufacturer ? Thanks folks, to help me. Marc
  7. I have done a Facebook group: French Steadicam Practice & Training group. Come on guys ! Passez donc nous voir, chers amis ! Cheers, Marc
  8. Hey everyone! I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing a meet-up and practice, in Paris, France? I'm still a newbie, so I'm trying to get more time in the rig practicing with other ops to help give/get tips, advice, being the subject and vice versa, etc... Helping us mutually. The city of Paris is full of place to do rehearsals. Please let me know! Don’t hesitate to contact me. Marc
  9. Hello Guys, I am trying to build a long center post for my Sted. The main issue is to find the circular threaded connector male & female, like in the picture below. I am not necessarily looking for the Lemo, but the black circular connector. I have tried several manufacturer, but I can't find it. Is there anybody who got an idea ? Marc
