I think post length should be altered to get the specific shot - either to change the lens height range and/or the rig's inertia. Choosing to configure your sled only one way is like playing 10 keys on the piano instead of all 88.
I disagree. You want the rig to feel the same so that your muscle memory is the same. It allows you to NOT think about the rig and just allow it to be an extension of yourself when you operate
Constantly changing the rigs response just introduces muscular confusion. -
I prefer a fast rig, so I keep mine short and tight, I do not like lazy long rigs

Only two in that list to choose from.
FlowCine XArmNB Stabiliser Arm.
The other two are huge skips -

The gimbal is not centered on the post and the post is probably not round. Pretty much un fixable on those rigs.
it’s one of the reasons that everyone won’t by the cheap crap

Those are pins not screws are they are there for safety if the bond between the carbon and the aluminum fails
leave them alone they are not user serviceable parts

why is it taking you 15mins to convert to studio? Power, SDI and crack it off the sled. Drop it on a head and done less than 5 mins going slow

If it seems to good to be true it usually is.
and that’s the way it is in this situation. That stuff is pretty bad, really bad. Like don’t waste your time and money bad

Practice it’s ok. Use on a set? It’s garbage

Riedel Bolero.
you can even use your own Bluetooth earpiece like the AirPods -
Find a used PRO. One and done, you will never need to buy another rig again

No, it will give you the foundation to start building your skills as a steadicam operator but it will not get you work
one other thing to consider, are you already an operator? Knowing steadicam doesn’t make you an operator you need to decent at that skill before you add steadicam

No, Why would you need to know that? What would it change shot wise? I'd rather be improving the shot than looking at that

Anytime you have a rig that doesn't stay balanced when panned has one of the following three issues
The Gimbal is not centeredThe post is not round
Weight is moving
Its really that simple- 1

No that is not a good rig to start out on. To fly a classic you really want a “Big Rig”. Look at what is being shifted on the used market for a Tiffen, GPI-Pro or the likes
