Hey Fernando, so I actually just made the switch to the 703, and though the GUI level is nice, it’s not something I would rely upon. It’s slow to react, and though you can “speed up” the sensitivity it’s not something that feels properly reactive or even sometimes accurate. It’s a close approximation. I would look to adding a bubble/spirit level or adding a fancier external digital level that several members make.
I switched to the 703 because Transvideo is heavier (but only by 1.01lbs when using the 703 + Cam-Jam mount), and the Transvideo currently doesn’t allow for frame rates of 1080p up to 60fps (which is becoming a common Red SDI format in music videos and some commercials). The 703 does cover those specs.
I feel the contrast and brightness and general look of the transvideo monitor is better than the 703 (with regards to Steadi operating), however, when taking frame rates into account, the 703 becomes the cheap and very viable solution.
