  1. Two months ago ,when cleaning on of my arms I’ve noticed that two of the bearings are in bad condition. So ,I’ve ordered all the bearings (without the trust bearings) and new specially treated axels, so I can re-anodize and re-paint every part. So far so good….But what I have found when de anodize the parts shocked me: Cracks all over the long sections of the arm ,especially where the axels and the bearings are. I’ve ask a “specialist” ,who told me that those can be welded and will work fine. Hmmmmmm……. Tried on one of the sections ,but I did not like how it looks. So the dilemma was : to save this arm for spears, or to order a new sections .As I’m not really a rich guy and the arm with my back-up sled where already for sale ,I’ve decided to make new sections . It took the machinist almost two months, but yesterday I had them and send them for anodizing. Do any of you guys seen this before? I know IIIa/Luna arms are old ,but this….
  2. Try another cable before thinking of servicing that motor. Best!
  3. Just to say: This is the Best 2.4 GHz system I've seen (that's why I have 2 receivers and 6 transmitters B) )

  6. Thanks for the advice, everybody. Is it possible to check the motor with a multimeter? Not realy...
  7. This is my back-up/running rig ,witch collecting dust for the last 1 ½ - 2 years, so better find him a new home… Modular sled ( IIIa based): Carbon 1,5” two stage post (HD-SDI running thru) Model IIIa top stage Long and Short dovetail plates Pro Gear gimbal ( I think copy of Pro ,very good smooth and solid feeling) Costume made J-Box Costume made bottom part/battery holders for 3 batteries (PAG at the moment ,but can be changed on request) with LED battery meters Fork with two docking collars Pro monitor arm Costume made 6.5” transflective daylight readable HD-SDI/SD monitor 5 PAG batteries with charger Some needed cables IIIa recently modified vest IIIa Gold springs Arm (Robert Luna modified) Soft cases for the Arm and the Vest, hard case for the sled Will consider the Best offer! P.S.:The "Monster" is not included B)
  8. Is it the same with the had unit ON and OFF? Did you try it with another motor? It sounds for me like the potentiometer in the motor is about the end of his life. Best!
  9. Brooks, I've fly PhantomHD a lot.No problems at all.The only think is that you must have power cable from your rig. Down convert the video and go with normal transmitter to be cable free.Low mode is easy-just turn it upside-down. I have posted pictures a wile back, but if you need some more just ask. Best ! Nikolay

  11. This explains what's going on in our world SO GOOD! Thanks a lot Nick! People should never forget where they've been and where are they now! This is not how I came here ,but I'm so shore that lots of people around did it this way (only difference is that some are calling the producers not the DoP's) Best! Nikolay
  12. I don't think that I'll even need to post coment about that: My link
  13. Bough this unit broken few months ago.Fix it with the idea of rent it with my second sled....Never happen! So,I'm selling this first model Chrosziel Fox with two NEW batteries, new charger, two motor cables, one power cable (I believe for Master) one FMG.6 motor, two antennas and 3 focus rings. The unit is in good working order(I've never try it on the set dough). I'll take the Best REASONABLE offer. This is a really good buy for beginner or for back up.
  14. I've took the level from my original Betz(Chrosziel) green screen monitor and use it on one of my LCD's.The level is only working with SD signals.I'm nor shore about the external levels ,but really think that they are the same ,but packed in a case. The easiest way to know that is to ask Christian Betz via this forum or direct thrugh his site.
  15. Charles, You are so right! As "fund investor" ,I meant that the things are growing.I'm not going to make those myself for shore.I'm just the one giving ideas and saying what we need. There will be company for this. We already have 5 models and working on others. Right now finding a representive company in US is one of our priorities . You know well that what the monitor shows at the shootout was not 100%.That same monitor is property of Nacho Ramos from the first day the monitor came back to Europe and I belive that he is very happy.
  16. Seeing $8000+ monitors next to $2500 monitors with little to no difference in picture quality in the sun (not talking customer service, build quality or features so please nobody get your panties in a twist) was really a bummer. We all thought there'd be a clear cut winner and in my opinion the best ones sucked equally and the others I won't even mention because they were garbage in the daylight. Is your new monitor better/brighter/easier to see than the one you had at the shootout? What will the price be? rb You are right! No matter the price, everybody using the same panels. Some are saying 550 Nit,the others 1100 NIT,belive me all the same.As a reference :I have never seen Nebtek's solar monitor, but I can bet we are using the same panel. As for mine,It is not brighter or anything it is just 16:9 and does have this LED level. Also There are no bugs (as far as I know so far),but who knows I have post it 15 minutes after I have closed it.Now is working for a week without switching it off . About the price range solid aluminum 3k usd, sheet metal 2.4k usd(with level).Level sensor is external for aluminum model (optional for the other) and is extremely small,so it can be installed into ANY sled. I'll do it into my IIIa sometime within the end of this month. Best!
  17. Ron, nothing about conspiracy at all!I'm just sad, because it all starts like this:no affordable daylight monitor on the market. I have build the firestone for myself and post it here. Then a lot of people was interested, then I've made the HD model, then send one to the shootout ,then found investor, the found someone to make it and then.....exited ....and then you know. Let me tell you all that it starts like making one for myself and turns out investing every single cent I have to make ALL of us Happy! Never have a penny back ,but I can ashore you that for the price it will be THE BEST! At the end I am one of you guys belive it or not!
  18. I guess ,I just need to open another topic.Every time I'm exited to shear with you guys something about the development of the monitor I'm planning to make, almost immediately someone turns the direction towards Transvideo, even if there is no post in the section from half a year.I don't know may be it's me. So anyone who wants to know about it there will be new topic one of those days.
