Finally I had the chance to fly that baby! It came out ,that if you are prepared this is pretty steadicam friendly camera. It was commercial and we did not have cine mags,but it looks like that if you have them this camera can be used as a "normal" with I believe pretty big success. Just few cents....

Unfortunatly I've find out that one KS-4 is not a tool for me. It just did little difference for me,witch is not coast efective at this price.

It came out it was another expensive tryout for me..... I've never try gyros,there was non around,so I've bough one,make it work on my sleds,try it,did not make so big the difference for me! So....now.....up for a sale: Brand NEW Kenyon KS-4 Complete set as presented at ken lab's site (7Ah battery,inverter,cigarette lighter power ...)plus... 3x Costume made post clamps,to fit: 1,5"post's,2"post's and Betz's RIG (47mm post) Costume made power supply 12 to 36 volt. Bought it from a local steadicam operator 4 months ago ,who used it for few months only. I've try it twice and the truth is I didn't like it!I'm goanna stay with my old M32P's (plus I have another FMG set wit a FOX) Best offer will take it! This motor is fully functional ,as far as I can test it with Genio and Fox.

It happens to me few days ago.What I think about this is,that the lens stiffens but not the motor.If you take the lens and try to turn it by hand you'll se that is also hard to do it by hand. I get out of this by changing the motor(FMG I've used for first and last time) with my beloved Heden M32p,but sometimes this is not enough.If it's for one shot only you can simply warm up the lens till the smoothest moment you can get(depends how much time you have) Good look!

I belive that well upgraded model 3a,with "Luna" arm and second hand FF will be about 20K and is a great Kit ,even for non starter kit. I've start this way and I've recently became a proud owner of IIIa again(witch I'm upgrading now) My few cents! Nikolay

OK! I'm waiting for my brand new KS-4 set,will be here within the end of this year.Since there is not enough work at all ,I have decide to start with one only. Now what????

There will be NEW 7"monitor on the market hopefully in production from Jan-2010. Built in LED level and numerous options. More specs within two weeks. Best!
