The Meridian system is the Industry standard for solid wireless transmission in any environment. Punches through walls well and great line of sight performance. Picture remains solid and does not drop off suddenly like other systems. As you approach the distance limits, you will start to see bits of breakup but you still have a very useable picture for video assist for long distances. Start up is almost immediate as is reconnection. See the Boxx website for details. There are plenty of youtube videos about the battle tested performance of the Boxx Meridian. Check them out. This system has just been to Boxx for a complete checkup and was absolutely perfect. I have added many additional accessories and upgrades since I have had it so that it would be a truly turn key system no matter what situation I was in. Reason for sale: I have multiple wireless systems now which go out on rental as well as ones I use myself. This one is the least used of all of them now and is the closest to new condition that I would want to sell and I don't have time to run a video assist rental business and I don't want it to sit around. As any of you who have bought gear from me before, I don't own or sell crap gear. This system truly is in beautiful condition and works performs amazingly. I forgot to mention that this is a custom length XCS center post. It starts at 26 inches fully compressed and extends safely to 40 inches which is more than the standard XCS post length. Also has an upgraded slim post clamp with Kipp handle and comes with a docking ring of your choice. Either XCS (two if you want the XCS rings) or Jerry Hill docking ring. Price for all is still just $2800. Custom length centerposts from XCS actually cost more than the standard length which is 19 to 31 inches. I have two XCS dovetail camera plates for sale. Both are the side adjustable version. One has more side to side than the other. The Cam Jam monitor yoke works with the SmallHD HB. The regular version of yoke fits PRO/XCS mounts where the spud would go. Or get the full Quattro mount and be done with it. Grayson Grant Austin, SOC

It is not ok to have a P.O. box anywhere so as to claim local residence and then live somewhere else. You must have your primary permanent residence there. This is part of the Union bylaws. Call your regional rep and they will be happy to explain it. I have had to call the union rep about this before because we do get a lot of it in Louisiana (and so do other distant production cities). Steve, call our central region rep and they will be happy to do their job and investigate and if true, those individuals will have to face the penalties. It is grounds for expulsion for all the reasons listed above. When I joined the union many years ago, I was given the option of choosing a 2nd local city, either Los Angeles or New York. I chose Los Angeles and it has been my 2nd local ever since. I can work there as a local but not anywhere else and certainly not New York. No matter what anyone might try to tell you, it is wrong and it hurts everyone and our union strength at the negotiating table in the long run. Report any and all instances of this violation. There are plenty of union members who have listed themselves on other sites including www.steadicam-ops.com as being able to work in multiple cities as a local. To complete Ozzie's stuff to a complete rig, I can separate mine up and sell just a PRO DB2 (New version, not an old one and it is as new/unused), two PRO 9 inch camera dovetail plates (as new/unused), XCS 2 inch Carbon Fiber HD center post with HD cable (also as new and unused) and an XCS Ultimate Gimbal with Ergo Handle (also as new/unused) to go with the upper and lower Junction Boxes and Battery Rack Ozzie is selling. The new cost of the gear I would be selling would be $14,332 US.
