All have benefits
real brief and my opinion
tiffen, faster fine tune adjustments, exposed springs, if you can get in touch with customer support they are fairly helpful. Also a large number of ops use it so there is lot of helpful info flying around.
flowcine great execution awesome price point and amazing support, weight ranges between spring cores are a little short but I hear great things.
xarm Has been widely adopted overseas, haven’t used but it’s a light arm that can take heavy loads. Can’t speak to the nuance of performance
nb stabilizer is the only one that uses exposed “rubber” bands to adjust its capacity. Some people swear by it, I’ve never used it, but there is a video of it failing on the internet… so I don’t know.
my 2 cents
Great to meet you and thank you for your comments and perspective.

Hello All!!שלום
I hope you are all most well! I just joined this forum this past week, and I look forward to engaging in great discussions and/or successful equipment exchanges with you.
I have some questions: What are the arms that you recommend most? Which ones would you avoid, and why?
I am looking at the following arms (trying to fly my Arri Alexa EV with a Steadicam Cinema Products 509 sled):
Tiffen/Steadicam G70X
NB Stabilizer Arm
Flowcine XARM
SmartSystem Arm X1
Also, have you come across any "homemade" arm builds that you would try/recommend?
Thank you very much, and look forward to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey G. Rosenberg

Hello Ben!
Would you be able to sell the arm separately? And if so, how much would it cost? Thank you.
