  1. Having dealt with Tiffen and Cinema Products going back to 1996 I would say their customer service sucks. If you buy a Master Series good luck getting parts or service for it. 2 years ago I called looking for repairs on a Master Series Broadcast and I was told that they don't have the parts for it and therefore they wouldn't be able to service it. The tech that I spoke to was fired a few months later. The smartest thing Tiffen has done in recent years is hire Peter Abraham. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest and straightforward. He has brought character to a product that previously had none. They should be kissing the ground he walks on.

  2. I have been working with Eric Anderson's G-Zoom for the last month now on a brand new Canon lens and it has performed flawlessly. Smooth zooming and focusing with the ability to adjust the zoom speed and focus tension on the unit itself. Its obvious that this was made by a fellow operator because a lot of thought has gone into it. Highly recommended.

  3. I've owned a number of IKAN monitors and even though they might not be on the same level as a Transvideo or Nebtek they are a decent monitor as a back-up or for a teleprompter. I recently had an issue with one of their monitors in that the component aspect of the monitor was not working. Their customer support was phenomenal and they had the monitor back to me within a few days. As mentioned they are going after the prosumer market so they might not be looking to compete with the brighter, more expensive bells and whistles brand but its still a good value for the buck

  4. Wondering what type of volt meters operators are using to keep an eye on their battery power. There are many to choose from just looking to see if anyone had a preference. Checked out Wolf Seeburg already and he has some viable options. Thanks ahead of time for any input. Claus

  5. Sven,

I have a Titan that is a few years old and has only been used once or twice. I'll check with Marianne from transvideo to see what it goes for new therefore I can determine what I should sell it for. Please let me know if your still interested. Claus www.steadiclaus.com

    Hi all,

I know chances are slim, but thought I'd ask anyway...

Anybody have a Transvideo Titan package (Tx - Rx) they want to part with?

    Let me know...

    Best,

    Sven

  6. Was looking to get some new padding for my PRO vest and i was wondering if anyone new who the manufacturer was. The folks at PRO gave me the name of a company but they had no recollection of having done business with PRO.
