  1. I'm back in LA now so this is back on the market if anyone is interested in buying it.
  2. Ok finally back from my shoot so this is back on the market and available again :)
  3. I am going to be back in Los Angeles from January 16th so putting this back on the market now. Happy to send the rig to Tiffen for a check over and use their payment facility where they hold the money as almost an Escrow too. Nick :)
  4. I'm going to be away from LA for a few weeks - so best not to try and buy it until I am back in January as I can't send it out until then :)
  5. I’m selling my Steadicam Zephyr that I bought a few months ago (I bought it from Myles on this site, you can see the post here): I am selling it because I've had a flare up of some old injuries to me knee and arm, my doctor has said to pack in trying to learn Steadicam. It is a local pickup in LA. I am happy to send it to Tiffen to be checked over and add that to the price. It had been checked before I bought it, and I had a once over done since I bought it too. I have had some of the pins fixed/ replaced on the vest since the original sale, but everything else is the same. I've barely used it because of a torn bicep and a flare up of my ACL. The Zephyr is used, obviously (!), but in good condition, I am the third owner of the kit but I've literally had it for a few months. In the original post it mentions that the rear SDI on top of sled is a little faulty, I had this checked and they couldn't find anything wrong with it, but out of paranoia I still use the front SDI because it has always been ok. Includes: -Zephyr Sled -Top Dovetail plate -V-Mount Battery Plate -Zephyr Arm (5-24lbs) -Zephyr Vest -Docking Bracket -Counter Weights -Marshall HD LCD Monitor -2x RED Power Connector (Epic, Red One) -2x BNC cables -12v Power Cable -Miscellaneous screws - Steadicam Pelican Case 1650 - F-Bracket/Handle Clamp Low Mode Bracket ($425 value) -Mitchell Base Vehicle Mount ($1045 value), -Generic Camera Cage -C-stand with wheels -Mini converter HDMI / SDI box. There are no V-Lock batteries included, so you will need your own. Always try and use the same type so you don't have to keep rebalancing it. Batteries are V-Lock not Gold Mount.
  6. Hi Tim, just paid. Please let me know when I can post in the marketplace. Thank you. Nick
  7. Hiya, a friend of mine lives in Japan and wants to learn how to operate Steadicam. He wondered if there were any courses/ classes in the Tokyo/ Yokohama area? He is absolute beginner but is really keen to get started. He has searched online but not found anything. Thanks for your help, Nick
