I wonder if anyone has experience with the Marrel EL, I want to use it on an Ultra with green screen. thanks mark de blok

you will need to have a helmet, knee pads etc, a hard mount can give you a lot of support but could also hit you right in the face on a bump. the picture does not show any proper modifications made for steadicam support and use. take a look at http://www.de-beukelaer.com/ to compare I do not work for them but have been working with them on a atv hard mount etc. take care mark de blok nsc

flyer wanted / look in for sale dear peter how come you can state you will be selling the flyer for less the factory (tiffen) can, while you do not have any stock, as you say, to keep the price down. I do not get it. If you are in this position, please give me a price for the Archer and for the Ultra and for the G 70 looking forward to hear from you mark de blok nsc soa

I thought I had the best gear, till last Friday I did. I tried Jerry's/Garret's G 70, it is amazing, the boom range, the smoothness, the damping on stops, the weight, the looks, etc. I do not work for Tiffen, but I do make a living with their gear. best mark de blok nsc

hello mr. nobody it is like asking for a new tire for your car in a candy store, be happy someone was so kind to give you an answer on where to find a garage. get out of here mark de blok and yes, the steadicamforum is like a candy store for steadicam operators.

Hallo Job. I've been working with XD and Modulus, no problem. The modulus is mounted on the back, on the battery. mark
-
With all the little handy things included, matte box, external TC clock etc, camera will have the same weight as a SRIII. mark de blok
-
Nick. the XD needs a lot of power (like HD) so you will have to mount a battery on the camera You will have to add extra weight on the bottom, so I think the SK arm can not handle the XD. Mark de Blok

Job, get yourself a panasonic 7 inch, will give you 16:9, try to buy in the US; cheaper! mark de blok

My post is not about a 28v battery, it is about not using a 28v battery mark de blokjava script:emoticon('') java script:emoticon('')

I've been playing around with my ultra to get a decent power at the top stage for power hungry (HD) videocamera's and finally came up with this. I've mounted one Lithium Ion batt. (14.4 v 95 Watt) on the battery mount and connected this to the 28 v entrance, (these batteries are charged up to 16.2). now here is the miracle, I still get 13.2 from the converter, this I only use for transmitters etc. I made a cable from the top stage 28 v output, this output in this set up now gives me the direct voltage as supplied by the Lhitium Ion batt, : camera is happy and all acc. are happy, there is a danger in this setup; you can not use this cable when you use a 28 v battery; this will give a 28 v voltage to your 12 to 16 v videocamera. This set up saves weight; you bring the camera battery down to your sled and you can monitor the power via the camera, most camera's can give you on screen info. System works again on 1 battery making it easy to know when you need a fresh one. So far it works. Feel free to try this set up, do not blame me if anything goes wrong ! mark de blok

Rob, sorry for the misunderstanding, my reply was based on this quote, I think it's strange reason to start a topic. Mark de Blok NSC
