You may also want to lower the bitrate of the reels. I have a DSL connection, but I still had to re-buffer in the middle of the clip. Probily start with lowering the bitrate of the audio, since it's not as important as the ever-important video. A DSL connection can only handle about 225 kilobits/sec (28 kilobytes/sec).

Don't blame formats, blame the plugs. It's their fault this time.

I actually came accross that training video on a peer-to-peer file sharing network. I will amit that I downloaded it (I know). Looking at the guy's screen caps, they look like screen caps from the DivX video. You can even make out the compression artifacts. Looks like he found the same video and burnt it to DVD.

The Dr. Phil Show uses a steadicam all the time. They even close with a steadicam shot of Dr. Phil and his wife leaving the studio.
