Commonwealth Games un-tethered steadicams ?

Hey Guys!
Yeah I was also at the Games doing Steadicam and Jib work.
Dale Henderson and myself did the Marathon from our rigs which were hard mounted from the back of Toyota RAV4's. The Links were ABC MiniCam's digital links which beamed up to the chopper > building > OB truck. Those ABC guys are freaks! (good freaks)
The links worked pretty much perfectly as we were leading the runners through and around the buildings and streets of the city of Melbourne.

Dale Henderson also did an unbelievable job on the Mountain biking with his rig mounted on a 6 wheeler as he stood on the back of it operating, leading the riders along the same track as the 6 wheeler (first time ever allowed apparently) - shots looked very cool....
