  3. What ive seen as a 1st AC are 3 kinds of carts out there for purchase. The Yaeger carts, back stage carts and rubbermaid carts. The yaeger carts have a red plate on the front of the cart to mount a Ronford Baker Quick Release. Which is designed to mount the camera on the front. On the backstage carts which you are describing, have a option to have the mitchell mount on the front of the cart to mount the camera. I think thats a hassle to me. If the dolly moves with the head and you grab the camera that has a long lense, you dont have a way to dock it. Thats were the RDP comes in handy you can dock it, rotate it and push your cart while cameras built. Also they are great for the camera truck to work on the camera.

  4. Ive designed a very cool tool for Camera Assistants to mount on there carts. Its Called the RDP (Rotating Docking Plate)..

Helps the camera assistants squeeze through tight areas while in travel and the camera stays built. Whether if its on the sound stage, the elevator, getting through doors or tight hallways. Able to build the camera freely with out stress and at ease.

If you would like to buy one, the info is on my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/REID.RDP

If you have any questions let me know..
