Bruce. I've had Dave Hable modify 3 sleds for me. He does fantastic work. I'm not sure of the exact price but I think it was around $2700 for the upgrade. I could be wrong. Either way its a lot cheaper than buying PRO's upgrade. Nothing against PRO, I love their stuff and own a ton of it. Just think there should be a less expensive option out there. Call cramped attic. You won't regret it. He can ad a tally line or just about whatever reasonable mod you need. Ramon

Ken, my situation was the same. Tried rebooting but found changing batteries helped. Strange since my voltage was reading well over 12 volts.

Nate what did you see as flawed with the Tilta cage for the Mini? Ramon

I've had this happen several times. The image from the mini will suddenly shift to the image I've attached. I can't determine if the issue is power or heat related. Just not sure what to make of this. In the past I've simply rebooted the camera and the image was proper. Had a job on Sunday, yes working on Mother's Day, where rebooting only temporarily fixed the issue. Eventually the camera behaved but for an hour during the day it was a real problem. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Zacuto makes 32pitch gear strips that you can wrap around Auto focus lenses. The issue becomes the fact that there are no hard stops on the focus barrel of an auto focus lens.........if that is what you have. You'll never know where you are on the lens since the barrel can continually rotate. Ramon

I demoed the Tilta FIZ system today. Very well made. Super modular. well thought out. Looks very similar to the Arri and Chrosziel systems. Its modular in that each motor will have an MDR that will stack together as motors are needed. They even have their own Cinetape version that was reading the event hall wall 60 feet away. I think the Arri UDM reads to 45 and the cinetape is only 21. Am I wrong? It Looked pretty sexy but we all know that functionality and dependability are the only issues that matter when your wide open at night doing a push in. 3 motor system costs 7K$!!!!! Not sure what to think about that. R

Ian and Brooks thanks. My real issue is being off angle either well below or to the side of the monitor. How do either of these monitors perform from those perspectives?

I need a monitor with great off angle viewability. I know OLED's offer the best but they are such low brightness I'm thinking of going with an LCD. Anyone have any experience with SmallHD's gear? I'll be using this monitor in all kinds of weird angles on my sled in conjunction with the Omega. So the monitor will be everywhere and tough to see at times. Any input will be appreciated.
