Here is the bracket. It was made by Tiffen to pinch the nose box of the Ultra2 and screw in your MDR2. I took strong velcro and applied on the underside and taped up over the sticky side of the velcro in the trapezoidal sides.

Sanjay, are you having sporadic losses on your HDSDI line? Check your BNC Female connectors, they may need to be replaced or just pinch them inwards with needle nose pliers.

Ultra 2 monitor rods are not the same spacing as normal 15mm lightweight rods. not sure if they are even 15mm Tiffen makes weight mounts that you could try and they also have a return monitor mount that is made to work on the monitor rods.

Heard about a cheese plate on the bottom of the Amira so I asked at the camera house, what they had was the UAP-2 which was designed for the top, it actually lets you loose the shoulder bracket and mount directly to the bottom of the camera... and it slides also. You'll just need to remove the handle to the UAP-2 (left on in the picture just to check if it worked) Also, the 15mm lightweight rods align perfectly with the cameras optical center for matte boxes
