it was decemper 2003 when i decide to invest in a new monitor after some emails and some phones with the manufactor we end in a deal . the problem it was that i had never see the monitor ,so the manufactor tell me that i pay the monitor and if i dont want it i send it back and he send me the money ,except shipping off cource.so the monitor arrived in january 2004(its only a wrong and come with car and no with airplane)and it doesnt work after some phones courier take it back and bring me a new one in three days (with airplane no mistakes now)with no charge(the first possitive)finaly i was no happy with the monitor i send it back and i talk a lot with manufactor for any change (if he want to make in the future )about the monitor.THE PROBLEM IS THAT UNTILL TODAY HE HAVE NOT SEND ME MY MONEY BACK and he always try to tell me some excuses like "o i have to many work for the nab i prepare the new model ...... i will make the tranfer in the end off the week "or "i make the transfer but something happen with your bank...."i ask for him the bank receipt but he never fax it to me so any suggestions ?

Hi Guys my favor mottor (fmg 6 , spf )drop in the ground for the c stand (thanks good i had a back up mottor) do you know were i can send it for repair

in the workshop you will start learn how to flying a steadicam and you will start learning how to control and develop your body and your muscles but before that you must have big experience off framming and filming so you have space in your mind to concentrate only in flying steadicam ,when you will be ready then is a visa versa (you will concentrate in your frame and in actors movement and you will fly more by instict) ,Also the enervation and your reaction when you are operating will be bigger than you expect (just remember that you are carry a heavy load and you have to dance with it ) if you enervate yourself in the set this will be a destruction and believe me thats happen verry easy and verry often then you must have the experience to cool down and concentrate to your job and always with a big smile in your face! thats for start Good luck

Hi ,did you try Baer bel cage Markus have made a strong cage (no more F...g vibrations) i love low mode but my back hate it (specially in long shoots)

Hi Daniel i saw in the picture that you have modificate the bar tech receiver back in the rig ! is special for that shooting (for the bad point of cg)or it help better in this pllace(avantages?) just wondering George

Hey Rob think i have full rebuilt the np1 with nickel metal hybrid cells(in fact i keep only the plastic box for the old batterys) (so no protection circuit)i believe that the anton power or other brand bat have a circuit for avoid the over voltage

i hve made a flat aluminium panel and i have put velcro on it also in the monitor (helps a lot in low mode)i avoid to screw the panasonic in his base bechause of vibrations .you can fix the panel even with your old bracket o wit xcs bracket(i think that xcs is the ideal ) Good Luck

Hi Rob i use also np1 but custom made i had try in the past 14.4 v 3.2 a (0,900 Kgr) it was wonderful battery but when i use it with SRIII (i don"t try 435) the camera doesn"t switch on, and that bechause when the batterry is full it have name voltage power about 16.6 volt so both of them is 33 volt SRIII have cut off on 32 V iam not sure but if i remember good in 435 manual says also 32V ! now i use 13.2 V /3.5 A (0,900 Kgr) and iam still verry happy with them you can easy reccel the old batterys and now i believe that you can made more powerfull about 4 ah (new cels on the market) Good Luck

Hi Guys i am in search for a new radio link . so i need your help , what frequency work better 1.2 Ghz or 2.4Ghz in 1.2 g i will have a double size (compared with modulus) link but 0.5 watt rf power in 2.4 ghz i have a 1/3 size (combared with modulus) but only 44mwats Rf power ,but the size of the transmiter and the antena allow to put it always on the top of the cammera anybody who work with one of this frequency can help me Jim Bartell are you out there?

hi well when i try for first time the dsd backmount vest i was thought |"bye bye to the pain and the stress in my neck"in few minutes i see that i can operate so good withaout press to much my muscles in my back,so i can operate so good even when iam so tired ,you know after to much shoots and at the end of the shooting day when the director ask 100 or 200 lens ..... now its a tear i use the dsd and iam not thinking even for moment the 9K$ i can only say thanks Walter thanks Daniel only the moments i have full run shootings(and i mean full run) i can say that i would prefer the old vest

hi i take my vest dsd (include focus and some chlothes, or sometimes i include only my arm in it ) with me in the airplame so i dont have any problem and i dont pay much money in the air companies (thanks pelicase for that)

peli 1660 for the rig i dont remember the type i thing peli 1750 for the arm and plates peli 1550 for batterys ,charger , accesories ,dv recorder and a back up lcd monitor daniels vest case include inside the bartech case(including two mottors) and a litle bag with tools also sometimes i take another custom case with a fox follow focus system and a (back up or for iris) (i can put the fox in the big case but i use to keep it is as set bechause i borrow it in other operators ) and of course the c stand
