It is probably better to have four blue ones ,because with 4 you can carry up to ARRI LT (maybe even a Moviecam Compact)

You will never need to add 4 black springs unless you are using IMAX

my questions is :can i use the arm with only 2 canisters (2 black for video cameras or 2 blue for dv sets)?if yes what bones must load with canisters the up or the down bones?advantage and dissadvantage of using 2 canisters ?(i have 6 can 4 black 2 blue and prodably as i see i will need 2 more blue unless if iam working video jobs with 2 black canisters)

hi for low mode you can attach your plate in the handle with just one screw (i did not want to do it also ,but when i tried ... very good and fast low mode! )

Hi i have the archos 700 and wireless video signal my problem is that when i have drops then archos cut the signal and show a blue screen with a no input signal message(for a second )this will make directors crazy, can i cancel this f**** option or i must forget the archos as a wireless video assist ?

i also agree ,as we know air its our enemy (gyros our gun to fight it )imagine the air speed out of the plane ,you can not fight it with any gyro

prodably the photographer need the lens in the higher position you can with low mode (and this bechause he want to pass the camera up for something ,like a desk or a table etc etc )

i believe that a level(digital or a bubble) always need in your rig ,you can have a look on it some times but it is there only for help so try to focus on your frame , on actors movement and in your horography but not on the level . if you are focus in your frame you will see if something going wrong with your horizon if you are focus in your level prodably you will have a bad frame !!! and finaly wrong horizon !

i have buy the same vda from canford for 140euros 3-4 years before ,but the problem is that it work only with the 9volt battery and not with steadicam power ( i try it ,and i use a regulator but the problem is that power remix with video signal (english polarity) but it work perfect with 9v battery,try to find it at canford catalogue i suppose that it cost less than 100 euros

hi try to use a high gain antena you can easy find one in a pc store

iam also a happy user of bb stuf but i want to say that Markus is always behind his phone and always ready ,when i had an accident i call markus on the mobile at 10:00 pm and i told him that i just broke some parts in my rig ,then he answer :ok ,tommorow morning i will shipp you the parts!!! it was Wednesay night i have the parts in my hand at Friday noon a perfect rig after an hour and shooting at Saturday !!!!!!!!,also another time i want to service my arm (but i was need the arm )Markus send me a new arm ,and then i send him mine for service

I think that is the ultimate(sorry Greg)plate for video camerras (no height ,no weight absolutely solid)and nothing else only this plate between the camera and the rig

the true is that when you are operating barefoot you feel your foot like a sensor for the ground .Also you have very smooth and linear starts, and stops but it is dandgerus .you can use soft and thin shoes so you have the barefoot benefit and you will be safe but on the other hand after some hours of work this shoes doesnt help a lot ,your foot will complain

try to use a good video sender in 2.4 ghz( you will find more off them in an electronic store) with an 7dbi 0r more (not directional ) antenna on the transmiter.you will find a lot antenna for wireless h/y routers .IT WORKS more than GREAT and it cost less than 300 euros to build a full package ,i try it as back up and now its my first choice!!!!

i use the transit conect about 4 years now its an excellent car for steadi work big doors beautiful engine ,soft starts soft change and soft breaks when you are use it for shooting with steadicam ,marvelus and quick for any travel (you forget that you drive a van),but no space for sleep! (IF YOU NEED TO SLEEP IN THE CABIN )and one more , the back doors open in 180 deegrees but if you asked its a special model that doors open in 270 deegres (very useful if you are shooting from the back door

hi i have two problems the first is that i canot find how i can have a photo near my name

the second problem is that i was in the forum a lot off years before but after a crash up on my h/y and some changes in my mail i lost all the data and i canot restore my password so now in the forum we have two of me my old registing was George Grammatikos and now iam register as G. Grammatikos

Thats why i choose ni-mh Batterys and no li-on when i built my package (also li_on batt can fire or explose ,difficult but its a posibility !)

but if you like lithioum you can recell with li-po but be carreful this batt have a lot possibilities to explose specialy after a short circuit,or a knock !!!

Canfort have a nice 1 to 4 video distributor (verry helpfull ,very small (9v battery size plus bnc conectors ,also marrel can built in a 1 to 2 vda inside the level)

Hallo everybody ,can anyone help me about the antireflective film for transvideo monitors ,where can i find it ,I talk with the local dealer and he told me that transvideo have an anti-glare crystal is that i want ?any help
