  1. So Who took the job? And who are the AC's on the job that are demanding a Preston?
  2. Any updates to this? I never did see the serial numbers posted as indicated. I've come across WCU units and Pro vests, and various other gear but without numbers, why look?
  3. What's the Firmware in the charger now? And what is the serial number on the battery? Number of cycles?
  4. Hello there Mathew. If you find a Vest and Arm capable of supporting 20+ lbs... Is your Sled able to support it also? Gimbals may not be able to support it. check it out before wasting any money... What Sled and gimbal do you plan on using with the Arm and vest?
  5. Have had BFD only for as long as they have been out. Always two systems, a Focus hand unit and an Iris slider to hand to the DP or the DIT. Havent gone to the Digital because I would not be able to control it myself with a knob on the gimbal for the live shoots I do, although in the last year I have convinced every live show so far to hire one of the Safety/Focus pullers I use. So maybe it's time for the Digital uprade.
  6. BTTT Decimator SOLD Prolite Sled#008 SOLD 3A Arm, not for sale any longer Starlite SD $300 Anton bauer Accessory plate SOLD Paralinx Arrow system Not for sale any longer Klassen vest with unique Dual adjustable Mount $5000. XCS Standard bent gimbal handle Not for sale at this time, but will be in a couple of weeks.
  7. Find a Duplication house in your area, They may have some different broadcast professional tape decks that would play the tape back, If there is a bad crease in the tape and it's causing playback issues, they may have one with tracking capabilities like in the older professional S-VHS decks and they would be able to record it on some sort of media that you could have, although any dub house will tell you, they will not be responsible if their deck eats your tape. Good Luck
  8. He's also selling a Lost Season 6 crew yearbook. It may be legit, like the time a PRO2 base with the battery hanger was sold for 500$. stranger things have happened, but damm would I have liked to have found that sale early. Who did #320 belong to? I have #180, with all new pads and buckles of course...
  9. 2 months for anything is just wrong. Cancel it, and buy a used Zephyr HD, or even a pilot, but with an HD monitor, in the used market you'll get it right away. Look for one within driving distance so you can go see it in person and check it out.
  10. Tim, Sorry this happened to you. I purchased a Bolt in Feb of 2013 a few days before leaving to Italy on a job, Received it, and since I did not have any experience with it, On the same day I received it, I took it to a production house who had experience with Teradek products as they had several, We plugged it in (With their supplied cables), it worked, the tech and I were chatting about it, and how clean the transmission looked and about 20 minutes after turning it on...It died. I called Teradek, they asked a few questions, and being that I was at a location who had purchased Teradek products before and it had been about 3 hours since i received the thing, they told me to ship it back, and when they had the tracking number, they would ship me a replacement, so I did. Same day I received it, it shipped back overnight. I gave them the tracking number, Kyle emailed me letting me know the replacement would go out that same day for Saturday Delivery.. The following day, nothing arrived, waited till the next business day Monday...nothing. I called them , they said they had not shipped anything out, simple enough, I cancelled the sale, got a refund, and bought a Paralinx with a crossbow, never looked back, I even bought a second one a few months back. I know the customer service at Teradek has improved and so has the product, so I'm sure your issue will be taken care of, although I would think repairs are almost as important and time sensitive as sales, if not more so. I've used both the Bolt and the Bolt 2000 on sets, Sometimes both at the same time and they rock. Just didn't for me at that time. Ozzie
  11. Iphone5? Go for the 6, it doubles as a prompter.
  12. Andrew, you mentioned the CamJam yoke with the HD6. I've had that combination for a year and with all the running around I do on the live shows, it's the best Yoke/Monitor bracket I personally have ever used. I bought one monitor yoke and quattro dual arm bracket for each sled, one with the yoke for a Cinetronic Gen 1 and the other with a Transvideo HD6. Excellent item. Ozzie
  13. Hmmm, great info here folks.. Looks like I'll save up for the Transvideo HD6X. I had my CineMonitor 3A SB for 7 years with no issues. Transvideo makes an amazing product, takes SD, HD, SDI, Custom frame lines you can set, Tally , etc.. Think about it this way. Would you rent a Monitor? Seeing as the X series from Transvideo will probably last you 5 years+ It's $107/month. Based on current price of $6,421 USD (4970 Euro) and I second Matthias Cam Jam Quattro monitor bracket and yoke for ANY monitor. I have one for the HD6 Classic and one for my Cinetronic Gen 1.
  14. Hi folks looking for a used but working Miranda Picolink DEC-291p. It's an inline converter that converts Composite NTSC/Pal/Secam to SDI, uses 5VDC Looking for a used one because It's not going to be needed for too much longer in the live world. Message me directly, Thanks Ozzie Ozzie@silverafilm.com This is what it looks like.
  15. If the workmanship is anything like your Dock and Roll, I'm sure it will be a success!, Your DnR was invaluable for me the last 2 weeks.
  16. Looking for a transvideo Titan standard definition set. AC supply, antennas, cables,etc..I do not need the small transvideo case that comes in. Text me Ozzie 305 216 8395
  17. not bad at all, and 117 million people have seen his work on Youtube alone....Not a bad thing at all, LOL PS, That young girl is amazing.
  18. Looks like the folks at Tyler Perry studios are looking for another 4 Steadicam ops in ATL, offering 60/ hour to operate and 2150/week for gear. Please tell me No experienced IA600 operator will accept $60/hour to operate steadicam. Regular Operating that's fine, but no Bump for Steadi work? Didn't they hire 4 ops for their production last year... Where are those operators?, Why aren't they back?
  19. I'll take the Anton bauer to 4 pin Canon adapter. will PM you now
  20. I guess it's because it's internal motors are digital or something right? JIM!! Make something!!!!
  21. Hi folks, I get the Fuji 19-90 with servo lens a bit and saw that my regular Fuji zoom control 12 pin cable does not go into that lens. And while looking under there, saw that there is a focus controler and a zoom controler connector. So... Has anyone had a cable jumper made from the 12 pin broadcast fuji to the new cabrio fuji, and how about the focus? Is there a cable from the bartech to the focus connector? to not have to mount a motor? thoughts.... GO!
  22. Definitely contact Peter about his Tally Box. Its a sensor that you tape to the tally light on the camera, the run the cable down the front of your sled and tape the tally light above your monitor. That's it. As for your sled with a gen 1, You can definitely work live shows with it. I also have a PRO/XCS hybrid and did the entire season of The Voice Kids ( Spanish version) with the Gen 1, the second season I went Transvideo HD6 classic, but you can definitely do it with the Gen 1. For zoom, you can use what Mike uses or the Stanton system... for about $2300 you have the controller that goes on the gimbal, and the motor to attach to Canon and Fuji broadcast lenses. I use a totally old system, which is a zoe eng controller for the zoom and a bartech small box hard wire focus controller connected to a modified BFD receiver and then the receiver to the Stanton Motor. They all work, they all make the live guys money. I'm going to have an original J7 zoom and focus controller selling soon.
