  1. Louis.. Hi there!!. What do you want for the 1" M-1 motor gear? That might come in handy one day.
  2. Hi folks, I've used both the Stanton Zoom Focus control and the ZOE BEBOB gimbal mounted zoom control. I mainly use the ZOE Bebob 12 or 8 pin units when doing live because I usually have a focus puller. I've tried the G Zoom and the size of it is just too big for me, Are you folks out here using something different that's reliable? The ZOE units have served me very well for 7 years. Ozzie
  3. Hi Folks, Wondering who has a ZOE bebob zoom control that absolutely works in either Canon 8 or 20 pin version. Direct message me please. Thank you, Ozzie
  4. Thanks for writing this Jim. I just came across it now. very Sorry for your loss, and peace be with you and His family. His motors and your focus units still go with me everywhere I operate. And they have saved the day on jobs where other units have failed. Best, Ozzie
  5. Just a note/shout out/big ups! to Transvideo International. Sent in my monitor for a check up, tuning, cleaning, they did the work fast, kept me updated, and at a reasonable cost, and shipped it back, all within a week. Good as New, Software updated, Screen cleaned of some water stains ( shadow spots) and it's back to work!. Thanks Marianne and the rest of the team! Ozzie
  6. Thanks Scott, I have run a sales business in Florida before and yes, Paid my sales Tax receipts monthly actually when I ran that business. I asked them to let me know where that sales tax is going to be paid. When it's in writing whether it's CT where they are shipping from or Fl, I will then know for future reference, for me and others. If they have a physical business address in FL, or any other destination state, they would also charge sales tax. Like Sony and other companies we all deal with do, but this one is new to me with AB/Vitec. Thanks again for the response. Ozzie
  7. Hi folks. Anyone else get charged Sales Tax when purchasing Batts from Anton Bauer? They don't have a physical address in Florida according to them, but they tell me "Sales tax is applied as FL is a state that charges tax." Weird.. BHPhoto doesn't, Adorama doesn't. When I sold Film cameras and Lenses I couldn't charge it if the stuff was being shipped out. Have the laws changed? Who in the Gov. are they sending my sales tax to? Ozzie
  8. If you watch the now famous yet over 20 year old EFP video manual with Ted Churchill and Jerry Holway. You'll find the answers to most common questions within the video. I believe it's available in DVD now and sold on the internet. Just do a search for Steadicam EFP Manual DVD. Good luck.
  9. Hi folks, Looking for 8 total, they can be the standard 2", or the 2.5" or even the 6" versions. If you have some in good condition, let me know, They can all be tossed into a medium USPS Priority flat rate box. for shipping. Let me know. Also do you have a Creeper Butt Dolly for sale?
  10. Have you seen the price of the Samurai Blade recently? It's half the price it used to be when I bought it, Accepts SDI, and definitely accepts the SDI trigger to automatically start recording with Arri cameras, Red cameras, Sony, etc.. By the time you get the converters and the Ninja your at or above the price of the samurai blade. Currently $495. just my 2c
  11. mine as well. Write it all out don't lead anyone to an outside site....and Use real names! and an easy answer for the question is, Pack it all, no matter what the AD gripes about. cause if your caught without something thats "back at base" it's you that will go down, not the AD who was trying to hurry you up.
  12. Are all of the Vibram 5 toe users from the original thread in 2012 still always using them to operate?
  13. Ritter Batteries re celled all of my HC and HCX batts over 3 years ago, they are all performing as new. They are as honest as the summer days are long here in Florida. I bought some white HCX batts on ebay a year ago and brought them the batts to have them recelled. Jennifer over there said she would check them out for a couple of days first. after a couple of days she called to say they were in amazing shape despite over 300 cycles each and they did not need to be recelled. Saved me over 800$. those white HCX units are still doing great!. Love those folks!!, Love them to pieces! I don't work for them nor get compensated, but one happy customer! Ozzie
  14. I have a Boxx and it has saved production numerous times, it just works!
  15. I have such a horrible memory as to who I sold it to, but my model 1 was tricked out but not too much, Had an AB plate on the back instead of the old battery caddy, and another AB plate underneath ( to run Arri3's in separate 12 volt runs for the HS base), then a leather wrapped handgrip, and the X and Y 3A top stage. Worked great! I sold it Hmmmm. Maybe 15 years ago? Just the sled I believe...
  16. He is one cool cat! I've never met him but have spoken to him at length many times, he is a super person, so kind and forthcoming with his knowledge!
