My first wireless video sytem
Osvaldo Silvera SOC replied to Nelson reis 81's topic in Video Assist and Video Accessories
Hi there, If you get a Decimator 2, you'd be all set to convert the HD/SDI signal to composite, still have a loop thru for your HD/SDI sled monitor and use the large array of SD transmitters still out there. I've sold several transvideo Titan SD systems, still have a few left. -

Someone please post regarding the motors and your thoughts, Great price for a Digital motor, Only question is , will it be strong enough to rotate not so new lenses, Looks great in the pictures. Are there custom lengths available for the cable? and is the pins on the cable the same to work on Preston systems? Ozzie -
Taveling with Gear
Osvaldo Silvera SOC replied to Manny Torres's topic in Cases/Carts/Stands and Transport
If there is anyone in the WORLD who knows how to Travel with gear, It's R. Vuona. I've used his travel rig and it's amazing how he packs everything into those two cases. I still can't get everything in under 3 SKB's and 1 Tripod tube. I think he uses magic shrinking dust. -

Carrying your own remote focus - is it needed?
Osvaldo Silvera SOC replied to Tom Wills's topic in Follow Focus
I have used My Bartechs on 99% of my jobs since I bought the Focus and Iris units from Jim when they first came out. Wouldn't leave home without them, and on Live shows I still use the Bartech system, unless I'm solo without an assistant that I'm used to then I pull out the Stanton system. Still don't have a full Preston after 19 years in the vest. I've been putting one together piece by piece the last couple of years, it's almost complete, lol -
type in ....DayBrite in the search function and there is tons of info on it. When I tried one for a week on a show, It did not have the 8 pin Lemo on it, nor the digital level, I'll check those out in the future. Great monitor. Only reason I did not buy one immediately is that I already have a main and back up monitor, but it is in my future.... Ozzie

BTTT, Several identical units available., If the next person who buys a kit has a Pre Cine Live PRO sled, I even have the cable to power and feed/take video to the unit. and even if you have the Cine Live, You can switch one end, or use the cable to power feed from the bottom of your sled where there still is a compatible connector. here is one such kit I took ugly cell phone pics of this evening..

Does the PRO CineALive have vibration problems?
Osvaldo Silvera SOC replied to Andrew Fletcher's topic in Sled
I'll second what Ron said, The same parts won't vibrate all the time, for instance, maybe your making a move and speed up all of a sudden and your steps are way harder than before and you see some vibration, or another example is your batteries on the plate, they may have the slightest play and it doesn't matter when making short moves, but if your quickly walking or even running during a shot, that small play will make it s way to the camera, not immediately, but as a cumulative effect after a few seconds.... Not sure if I'm making sense in my description, but start by eliminating standard things like ( place the soft side of the velcro pair on the battery plates so that your batteries go on snug, then work your way up.....
