Im experiencing a problem with my TB6 that I believe is heat related. In extremely hot condition (like today in LA) when I try and comeback from standby mode (and sometimes after i shut it off but mostly standby) the monitor does not come back to full brightness....the image is very very dark. If I power it down and let it sit for a minute it comes back fine. Has anyone ever experienced this problem? If so, what do you do to alleviate it? I've had this monitor for many years and have shot in plenty of very hot locations but this problem is just surfacing. Thanks, Spencer

I Have the same problem with an old Master sled I am going to sell. What ever became of your gimbal repair David? I was able to remove the gimbal and separate the broken piece but can't seem to navigate seperating the rest of the gimbal intop its pieces. I feel if I had the rest apart i could service the entire thing and repair/replace the sleeve. Is there any link online to instructions/pictures on how to disassemble the gimbal. Any advice would be appreciated! (god I love my PRO)

Here is a plate I used on a Panavision show the other day. It needs a BPA but was kind of like what I believe you guys were talking about. Is this similar to the one Sal makes because this one rocked and I would like to get one like it. Very light weight, stiff, with two mounting points up front and one on the back.

Just purchased a Decimator 2 to down convert images to my TB6 (PRO2 rig nonHD) and wanted to ask you guys what the DIP settings should be for working with an Alexa. It looks to me that all should be in the OFF (0) position but admittedly don't know what many of the settings are for. Also, I was trying to test it by just passing a standard definition (and the Y in a component output from my DVD) signal through the Decimator 2 and couldn't get a signal to my TB6. Will a standard def signal not simply pass through? Any ideas on how to test it at home? Thanks, Spencer Combs
