  1. Jon I have a SmallHD DP7-HB for sale. Are you still looking for one ? Kurt Warner
  2. I put my $100 down last July and my DP7 Pro HB arrived today. I've had it on about an hour and all the menu features and picture are working as promised. I have a studio shoot tomorrow and plan on using it then. B)
  3. Pascal I own a BFF focus unit,Analog with a FMG-6 motor that I'm putting up for sale next month. I have a few more booked days then I can part with it. If your still looking next month e-mail me and I'll send photos and Serial numbers. Listing price is $3000. USD Kurt Warner kurt@ level86.com
  4. I know this is a old topic and most of the focus has moved on to other things on the Forum but I just wanted to comment on the G-50 upgrade by Tiffen. I bought my arm new back in 2006 with my Archer 1 package. I won't go into the pros and cons of the arm since that's been done in much detail in the previous posts. The main thing i'd like to say is that I'm very happy with the upgrade. I don't have the cash for a new arm but the upgrade is as close as it comes for me. It tunes better, feels better and the Geo feature works better as well. If you have a G-50 now ,and your not sure about sending in for the upgrade or buy a new cart this Christmas , snap out of it. I don't work for Tiffen and Never have. Derek in Glendale was clear about the schedule and timeline. They did a great job.
  5. I just got an E-mail from Teradek, since I was on the pre-order list , that Bolts are shipping. I placed my order which was limited to only one TX/RX for $1990 USD plus 3-day shipping for $29 USD. I'm hoping to get the unit next week and I'll post again with my feedback. If your on the pre-order list you can also choose to get one TX and two RX , sorry but I didn't see the price for that combo.
  6. J.P. Did you order your unit direct or thru a dealer in the US ? I'm very interested in your review of the system since I'm waiting for more info from them on stock and pos ordering myself a two motor system. Thanks in advance! Kurt
  7. Robin and Phil I was able to order the correct Hirose Din plug from DigiKey and make a Tally cable for my Archer 1. For anyone esle who has always wanted that red LED on your stock 7" monitor to work, here's the part number. Digi-Key Part ---- HR212-10P-8P (71) , Cost was $9.06 USD Once you get the plug just solder a photocell to pins 7 and 1 as listed in the above posts. The photocells can be purchased at any hobby shop . In the States just go to Radio Shack and get a 5 pack for $3. Kurt
  8. Phil Sweet, Thanks for the info. Making a break-out box is a great plan. I'll let You know what I end up with. Kurt
  9. Archer 1 Owners Does anyone know what the Lemo 8 Monitor cables pin-outs are on a stock Archer 1? I'd like to have a cable made to power other monitors. Thanks Kurt
  10. James Yes, that is the one. I tried to order it direct from Adaroma's web site but it keeped locking up when I got to the shipping section. I just went to Amazon.com and found that they listed it for Adaroma and just used Amazons site to order it. The unit ships with 4 extra batteries as well. I had it inside a week.
  11. Lars I picked mine up over here a few weeks ago after seeing Frederic's video. The US source is Adaroma camera in NYC for $38 USD. I love the fact you can program the thing so if your velcro, or in my case and old Hotshoe, is not level you can quickly program it to the true level. Thanks Frederic for post this info. Lars, I hope all is well with you my friend. I've attached a picture of my new monitor arm for my Archer. You'll see the Digital level attached to the top of the LCD.
  12. Frederic Ever since you posted the info on the Ford Transit Connect last year I thought that it would be worth the wait. Well after 12 months of digging for details about the North American version of this Euro Award winning truck and calling my local Ford dealer over and over, asking him to give me pricing so I can place my order I find out this week that the base cargo model is over 20K. What the hell! Last year Ford was leaking that it would start at 12K so I was ready to buy one with extras for just over 15K. I believe that it is worthy of the praise that it’s gotten in Europe with the great 4.0 liter Diesel engine but 20K+ for a petrol Focus motor and a redesigned look. They should have given us a diesel for the American market and keep the look the same to keep the costs down. I would rethink it if they gave us the Euro version. I'd love to buy a Detroit auto but not this one.
  13. Colin Your comments on the Archer are "Spot ON". I couldn't agree more on each point. I'm very pleased with my Archer but you spell it out very clearly. If you only need 12v spend the extra 10k on a BFD, wireless video and /or a Klassen vest. Travel Safe

    Archer sled

Eric Nice job on the upgrade. WOW !!!! I've been trying a few split collars on the lower 35mm section and using "off the shelf" brakets to get the Monitor up off the stock Archer base. I've had mixed results so far. You went all out and replaced the base section all together. I'd love to hear more about how the new sled is with some of the larger Film / HD cameras. Also if Hofmann is thinking about making this for other Archer owners?
  15. All Wow, I Love it. The cargo area nice and rooooomy. I found web site ( Below) that put the selling price for a 2010 in early 2009 at 12k-16k USD. I'd love a Dodge Sprinter with that great diesel but 30K, No Way! Link : http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com...sit-connect.htm
