  1. For those live operators who use the Stanton Zoom/Focus handle: Stanton does not make a clamp for their zoom/focus handle that fits the new Tiffen M1/M2 gimbal handle, however there are now 2 options on the market from other companies. Cinematic Precision makes an aluminum clamp for $175, and Erik Anderson makes a 3D printed one for $85. Both are good options and I attached a picture of each below.
  2. Yes the sony 1500 and 2500 have the 1/4-20 screw hole. I use them with the cam-jams
  3. I saw Jerry's mdr3 bracket prototype on Friday and I just gotta say that this is a must-have! Brilliant design! I love the easy quick-release to go quickly to handheld configuration and it will mount in any orientation to accomodate connectors, etc. I can't wait til this is ready!
  4. Brooks...i'm using Matthias's yoke with a DP7 on one of my sleds. I'll get you some pictures when i'm back in LA this week. It's an excellent, well built yoke with plenty of clearance on the bottom, so it should work with the spirit. I would also be interested in getting a modded spirit level for the DP7 if you get Michael Kramer to do it.
  5. Thank you for your input Quincy. Yes its true that you could pay $4400 plus tax/shipping and lead time for the same items new, or my package, which is like-new and available immediately, for $3900 flat. For a fair comparison, here are today's SALE prices from Film-Stuff.com on the same items that are included in my package: Gen2 monitor: $2550.00 Gen2 Yoke: $276.25 Clamp Block: $157.25 Monitor Lemo Cable: $175 Digital Level: $1062.50 straight to right angle level cable: $141.25 Pro level mount: $21.25 Total: $4383.50 plus tax or shipping
  6. Wanted: Preston single channel package with hand unit and V+F receiver and motor. Also looking for full F1Z HU3 packages If you have one you want to let go, call or email. 615-414-0065 or john@johnperry.tv
  7. I bought several of these and decided to let one go. Works great, light use in-studio only so it's in perfect condition, inside and out. You get a Gen2 monitor, monitor cable (lemo to lemo for Pro CineLive sled), Gen2 Yoke, CDL level with mounting bracket and cable.... all for $3900. I use these on my PRO CineLive sleds with tally. Works great! Everything in the picture is included. The monitor is located in LA. Call or email, 615-414-0065 or john@johnperry.tv
  8. For Sale: Complete Milo Motion Control System located in Los Angeles Currently the system is on long-term rental and the terms would be extended to any new owner who wishes to use this as an investment and souce of monthly revenue. I bought this Milo motion control system brand new several years ago for just under $500,000. The package includes a fully loaded Milo (manufactured by Mark Roberts Motion Control in the UK, www.mrmoco.com ), 60 feet of precision track, model mover with stand-alone electronics, Flair software, and a complete Mitchell Fries 35R3 camera package. The Milo package is currently on a long-term rental at Camera Control Inc in Santa Monica for a flat fee of $4200/month (www.cameracontrol.com) . It has been at Camera Control on rental for the last 7 years, and there is no end in sight. They fully maintain, schedule, book and operate the rig. I am completely hands-off except for sending a rental invoice every month and they've always been prompt with their monthly rental payments. Camera Control hopes the new buyer would continue the same deal for an indefinite number of years. There are only 3 Milos in LosAngeles (including mine) and they are all at Camera Control and are constantly booked. To buy a new system like this would cost about $490k, a refurbished one would cost about $310k, and mine is priced to sell at $225k. The only reason i'm selling is to raise capital to invest in new lenses. Email or call if interested. I can set up a demo in Los Angeles and a meeting at Camera Control Inc in Santa Monica. 9. Anyone else had electrical trouble with this monitor?
  10. Haha maybe Kris. I would normally think that too, except in the "Want to buy" forum. Why else would one respond to a WTB post? ;) Btw, drinks at Mandalay are on me next week
