  1. For sale is my Recently overhauled Master/Ultra Arm. Is in great shape, I've rarely seen a Master arm as this one on the market. It has been overhauled by Brian Busby @ Mitchell Engineering, I've spent 1200£ on it. All invoices available. Included in the sale is a padded arm bag and one arm post (Master to Pro). Selling ONLY because I upgraded to a Pro arm. 5300£ or equivalent. Can ship worldwide. Shipping and bank transfer cost at buyer expenses. PM or email if interested.
  2. Nelson, Breathe. You are right, this is the newbie section. Point is, in my opinion, and with all due respect, a random sequence of footage uploaded at first after reading the instruction manual of your stabilizer system is not a good start. In your position, as it has been for vast majority around here, a workshop would be a good start. A deeper knowledge, acquired in any way, regarding technique, framing and aesthetic would be a good start. You said you are a camera operator. Don't know what you mean with that, it may have a broad meaning (usually an IMDb personal credits scroll gives a fair idea), but if you have experience behind camera, you should know there's no point in uploading a video that is wrong in too many aspects and let it judge by other pros. Would you show a framing less than ideal to your DP/Director while rehearsing? What for? To get negative criticism? In spending some of your time in try understanding where others started from, you may discover interesting bits that may give you a hint on how and from where to start. And believe me, it's much easier to start nowadays in this field that it was just ten years ago. So, take advantage of that. This forum is a great source of knowledgeable information for either newbies and experienced operators, take the most out of it reading and studying before to just upload your thing. Get in touch with a local Steadicam Op, ask for suggestions, if you behave, I'm sure you'll receive great inputs. Make sure you're going to be loved by the community, if is where you want to be eventually, and things will be much easier that falling into unneeded arguments with people that was already in this craft when you were still at primary school. So, coming back to your header post, my answer is: there isn't much to review in the video you posted. No offense, but simply because there's nothing there to watch or judge. Were others better than you at their first fly? Who wants to know! What's the point? You have thousands of hours to practice ahead, as per everybody else when first started. Go back to practice, sign up for a workshop, get some knowledge. Moreover, enjoy the forum as a reader, don't feel obliged to post a video when there's no need for it. A technically empty video will only show where you don't want to be. Nothing constructive will comes out of it. Show us your nice and shiny show-reel in couple of years and things will change. Peace Fab

  6. Dear Micheneau, it would be nice to know who you really are, so if you could change your name and update it soon it could speed up your sale process. Also, you're posting in the WTB and not in the sale section, where you have to be a registered user and a sustainer member of the forum in order to sell items. Our world is really small, we like to know who is selling what... Peace
