  1. I would say stick with the PRO tutorial, done it many times myself, never had a single issue. Why are you looking for a different way of doing it? It is quite straightforward and if it's the way they do it, well, there must be a reason.... Happy cleaning
  2. Dearest Eric, the least you should sell your father's arm is around 8-8.5k. That's what is worth! If I can suggest, don't sell it for less. Also, you may find a better place to post your ad, in the Marketplace area of the forum; there, you can look for wtb section, there's always people looking for stuff and your arm is very easy to sell. Best of luck
  3. You are into "set" mode. Push and hold the button on the unit, you should then be able to dial letters and numbers until you're back to your channel of choice. Should help F
  4. Especially handheld with an improperly balanced rig! Yikes. A couple more glasses of wine and then we're going to have a lesson in camera operation. LOL
  5. Yep, that's why it's a pain...!!! Loads of Lisigav tubes to have at hand
  6. I can guarantee that in terms of weight the AR is a whole new experience, simply because it sits far away in respect with the operator's body, and the most during transitions. apart from that, I didn't really ever had a great time with it and sold it after a year. Mostly because never had somebody happy to pay the right amount of money for it. Let me suggest you, in case you are getting it brand new, to have a workshop with Howard, so you can better understand how to approach the tool and save some time once at home. I hope for your back you're having a BM vest, a must! Camera wise, if you talk about film camera, only the smallest cameras will fit into it, and sometimes it's a huge head-scratching to fit the accessories you would like to have on board. Digital cameras are getting smaller and smaller, so the range of camera fitting into it is broadening day by day. Personally speaking, never enjoyed flying it, a totally different feeling from steadicam, and again, personally, never got used to it. But then, I know of many operators having one and being happy with it, so, hope you'll enjoy it. Let us know Best
  7. Get yourself a gift card for the gym this Christmas......and of course have fun with the AR!
  8. Hey Danny, you should get in touch with Dan Kneece, if I'm not wrong is selling his own Pro II sled. Good Luck
  9. Hey, it would be great if you could change your user name with your real name. That may help you as well so people will know who's dealing with (and it's a forum rule by the way). Good luck with your sale
  10. Hey Thomas, you can give a try at Visual Impact, they have some great technicians there, or no better place than Panavision? Cheers Fabrizio

  13. Nothing like that comes out visiting the page from my blackberry. everything is exactely the same as reported. Don't know how to add a copy of it in here, but if you visit the site and copy and paste this: BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.586 Profile/MIDP - 2.1 Configuration/CLDC - 1.1 VendorID/142 and analyze it you'll see that almost nothing will comes out...
  14. Once the Mobile skin is selected, Javascript should recognize the change and "click go" for you. Do you have Javascript disabled on your Blackberry? Do Blackberry's even have JavaScript? Hi Tim, many thanks for your help. Yes, BB has JavaScript and mine is enabled. Following your instructions, here is the result of the User agent string explained: BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.586 Profile/MIDP - 2.1 Configuration/CLDC - 1.1 VendorID/142 BlackBerry9700 ??? 5.0.0.586 Profile CPU type: Intel PC compatible MIDP-2.1 Configuration ??? CLDC-1.1 VendorID ??? 142 ???

  16. As the title says, if I access the site from my Blackberry there's no mobile option, or better, you can select mobile option but then there's no button to hit the command. Any idea? Many thanks

  19. Hi Micheal, Jamie McIntyre is selling his own Archer 2, it is a shiny one, seen it few times out of the box, it's a great kit. If you're on the market for a second hand almost new you won't find a better one. Good luck F http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12258
  20. Fabrizio, when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was MY hero: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g__fn6P5Dk You're right Charles, Our real hero has been on top of my chart until yesterday, when I fell in love with this guy's sunglasses "V" style and an all new way of flying...... Although is clear that is just an attempt to steel our real Hero it's undisputed and long deserved first place. It won't last I'm afraid, as all fashion does, there's much more than a pair of sunglasses to ride the wave.... This is classy
  21. ....And this...... After the Tango, here is the Waltzer
