  1. Does anyone out there have a socket block they might like to sell to fit a Master arm. Perhaps from a trashed arm etc. Its the Arm section of the block I need with the two adjusters, not the vest socket. Made the mistake of using a titanium block on a lowloader vehicle mount… no bumps or trauma, Alexa SXT with Betz wave just too much weight. Slightly annoyed as the sled was still within the lifting range of the arm. (Was using my older kit as my Ultra 2 / G70 are out on hire) lesson for everyone, the Titanium blocks are weak and can get scarey. Mike

  3. I'm selling a G70 arm in great condition. Bought in 2008 the arm has had only moderate use. It was serviced by the Tiffen factory in December 2009 and has not been used since as I have been using my older gear on a long running TV news show. The arm is very clean, no corrosion with just a few light operational scratches..... Those that know me will be aware of how carefully I look after my gear. The G70 is in London UK, all import duties etc have already been paid hence the sterling price. UK list price £13,500 GBP + VAT Thanks to its recent service this arm is sweeter than a new arm and priced at £11,500 GBP + VAT Mike Scott SOA GBCT mike@steadi.co.uk
  4. Hi I'm thinking of changing out an FMG-6 and replacing it with a Heden motor so that all of my kits are motor compatible. Would be interested in the M28 or M32, either will need a full set of cogs etc Best Regards Mike Scott (London UK)
  5. Hi I have a docking bracket for sale on ebay amongst my garage sale items! If interested please follow the link; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=2988788637 You might have to cut and paste it into your browser. You may have seen this Item auctioned late last year, it was won by an overseas buyer who diddnt bother to read my payment terms and has strung me along all this time! I still dont know what to charge for this item so have put it back on Ebay. I now use Paypal for overseas payments, nice and cheap for buyer and no need to release bank details. Accounts are easy to set up or you could talk a friend into making a transaction for you if you want to bid! Good luck if you are bidding regards Mike Scott
  6. Hi Chaps Just to clarify, the Ultra is available at 12v, I've got one as I've been doing mainly broadcast work. I would have ordered 24V if I'd had any sense, but at the time all the rigs that were previously hired to me were 12V so in my rush to go freelance I never considered it. At least I can borrow batteries from my Master for Digital Links or long location days! I think Joe may have been asking what would happen if you used 12V batteries on a 24V rig. Only guessing here, but I think 12V would appear on the hard wired 24V pin of the 3pin lemos at rear and front of the stage. However any output that would normally be regulated at 12V, ie the monitor socket and 4 pin hirose sockets would most probobly be dead. The raw voltage would be below the input threshold of the regulator. Only guessing of course! Mike
  7. Hi I'm interested in power cables for both 12V and 24V film cameras, any condition will be considered. The cables need to fit my Ultra and dry hire Master but I will consider any sled fitting as I can always fit my own Lemos. Again, cable condition is not a problem as I can rewire as long as I have something to safely copy! I've invested in a 24v power converter as I hope to find more film work here in the UK and make the jump from broadcast TV. Regards Mike Scott www.steadi.co.uk
