Hi guys n gals,

Thought i'd offer this up on the forum before I put it on ebay.

Master series broadcast vest in good shape, apart from some fraying on one of the straps on the RH shoulder pad below the buckle ( photos available just mail me ). Any decent offer considered.

WOW! just watched the documentary on Garretts website. I remember seeing this when I was a kid and it became all I wanted to do when I grew up, brilliant to see it again.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if you could convert an NTSC 3a monitor to PAL. I have been looking for a 3a for a while but most of the rigs out there are based in America or Canada and I am worried that I may be stuck with an NTSC version.

Is it possible to swap the boards or something?

Funnily enough this happened to me recently :blink: Ultra series arm, three years old with a digibeta 790.

I was filming with a (very short) actress and had the arm boomed all the way down, and just standing there not even moving when there was an almighty BANG and a smell not disimilar to gunpowder.

The spring in the arm section closest to the socket block had snapped and was hanging out of the end!

Thankfully no injuries, just new underwear :(

FYI Tiffen said the cables had crossed.

Hello, I just wanted to ask if anybody uses a second monitor bolted to the back of their rig ( opposite the main one )I ask because I do a lot of tv work and I think a second monitor would be good for don juan ( so I can look where I'm going whilst not having to constantly look over my shoulder ). Does anyone do this? could I bolt an LCD monitor easily to a tiffen Ultra sled without too many modifications?

Any ideas would be very welcome!
