  1. Hey Brandon, These transmitters/receivers sound awesome. Im looking for a new Transmitter/receiver downunder in Melbourne, AUSTRALIA. Where can we get a look at one of these little babies. It would be nice to see a pic of some sorts. Is there a web site that we can go to see a picture??? I will definately be in the market this year, the earlier the better! Cheers, Dale Henderson. www.fluidmotionfilm.com
  2. Gday everybody, It has been a long time between drinks and i thought i would touch base and let every body know how the Water Steadicam Unit has been going. We now have been used live broadcasting with our unit for Australian TV, Ch9 Australian Lifesaving Championships, 8 hrs on the water and very intense shooting as you can immagine. We then worked for Ch7, Australian Ironman Series, 3 hrs on the water shooting live footage. Ripcurl trialed us out for 2007 Easter ASP Ripcurl Pro, once again live web broadcasting around the world. This week was massive being on the shoulder as the big surf rolls in. Ripcurl have booked us already for next years event so we are looking forward to that one. If anyone wants to check out some footage on the water Steadicam unit, then go to www.fluidmotionfilm.com There is a link on the front page that takes you right there. Enjoy, Dale Henderson Hendersons Images Pty Ltd www.fluidmotionfilm.com
  3. Here is another one!! We had bad weather for the first 3 days shooting, but then the gods shone upon us, and the next 2 days were just like heaven!! We had 5ft waves with smooth faces to race down the front as Taj smashed his way across them. We only got air once with a freak break, and let me tell you that when you are going backwards down a crashing wave and then turn around into it only to go back over the top, suddenly you have air between you and the wave and all you can think about is this is going to hurt!!! It really is up to the seadoo pilot to get you out of harms way etc. Will fill you in more soon!! Hang on tight, Hendo
  4. Gday guys and girls, Well i have finally been booked with my water steadicam. We shot over a 5 day period in July 05 with Surfing Guru Taj Burrow and the footage for our quest was amazing. We are now in talks with Kelly Slaters managers for up coming Quicksilver films etc. We have also just been booked early Jan 06 for the Kellogs Ironman series with our unit so next year will definately be a big year indeed. I would like to thank the guru's themselves, Mr Garrett Brown and Mr Jerry Holway for giving me some great advice re: this water unit, and also helping me along the way in promoting it!! Thanks Guys!!
  5. Gday there, Long time between posts! I have just been picked up by Australian Film maker Jack McCoy who films all of Billabongs movies, and we are just about to shoot in early August his next production! We ars filming Australian surfers Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson and a few others during a 3 week period then hopefully off overseas to some warmer locations! The money shots will be taken off our waverunner and i know that there will be some great shots out of this expidition. I will keep everyone posted on the next events coming up! Cheers, Dale Henderson. www.getreadygetsteadygo.tv
  6. Hi Guys and Girls, Thought i would give you an update of the second stage of my water steadicam movements! We have tested out our new supercharged seadoo the other week at Woolamai beach Victoria where we had 6 ft beach break waves! The day started out bad with 25kts wind blowing from the south and very choppy conditions! The new seadoo handled it well, and with the second stage of our water proofing camera housing and wireless monitoring system it all went well without any glitches! Thought i would post some new pics of the day and the rig! I will keep you updated as things get more advanced! We are heading out for stage 3 into some breaks at Phillip Island this Sunday for some more testing! Cheers, Dale Henderson www.getreadygetsteadygo.tv
  7. Gday Guys, Here is the second stage of our steadicam water madness. All went well on the day and the new seadoo also was more stable and suitable for our adventures. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome! Cheers, Dale Henderson. www.getreadygetsteadygo.tv
  8. Gday Guys, Here is the second stage of our steadicam water madness. All went well on the day and the new seadoo also was more stable and suitable for our adventures. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome! Cheers, Dale Henderson. www.getreadygetsteadygo.tv
  9. Gday Rusty Trumbone, All is going well this end mate as you can see! Here is another pic for you to peek at! Hope you like? We are heading over to Western Australia in about 4 weeks to film WCT - ASP Gun Surfer Taj Burrow. Im sure it will all fall into place after that shoot! See Ya, Dale Henderson. www.getreadygetsteadygo.tv
  10. Gday Rusty Trumbone, Good to hear from you mate! Things are going well as you can see over in Australia! We are currently going over to Western Australia in about 4 weeks to film Australian Surfer Gun Taj Burrow, we will be getting some amazing footage in the waves alongside him. We also are going to shoot the footage on the new Sony HDZ1 with a water housing. Have a look at the pic and let me know what you think! Talk soon, Dale Hendo
  11. Gday TJW, As for your question, Does it float? Just like a lead balloon, i hope not to ever find out! Cheers, Dale Henderson
  12. Gday Guys, Sorry not to keep every one up to date with the water steadicam. I have been flat out like a lizard drinking with work and all, and i have not had a chance to sit down and give you a run down on this topic! Yes about the monitor, I had a small problem on the test day with my LCD so luckily for me i was able to use the small LCD screen that was on the camera. The day was a full test day with a DVCam camera, and we are now about to shoot one of Australias top ranked surfers at the end of the Bells Beach Australia WSP Comp with a new Seadoo and also the new Sony HDZ1 camera. We have tested the HDZ1 and as i shoot with Digi Beta and HD, the pictures out of the HDZ1 are equivelant to the Digi Beta, so we will surely get some great shots alongside our surfers in the waves. As for the big willy, I dont think i should brag about that one, but i think i have big balls to do what we are about to do! Going backwards, in up to 50ft waves filming surfers with a steadicam!!! Big Balls or Adrennalin Fix eighter way it will all be worth it! Cheers, Dale Henderson.
