If I understood correctly, they all come in the same casing, same size but with different insides. The only difference I saw on the outside was some of the lower priced models didn't have the changeable angle connector.

Indeed really neat. The Preston motor adapter is very smart idea. And all the 546 different motors he had (well, not quite that many) are very nice too. I'm considering a digital M1 for my Preston. And it was nice seeing Jim's stuff selling like hot cakes! Congrats! Daniel

I saw the Transvideo monitor there. They have a 6" and 8" versions ( Maybe 6.5 not sure) of their new HD monitor. It is really impressive. They have the studio version (for color accuracy) and the super bright version, and you can add all sorts of goodies, like built in frame lines and digital level as software upgrades. It accepts HD SDI and regular NTSC inputs, so it is tailored for our application. And again, Marianne was extremely patient in showing me all the ins and outs and goodies of the monitor. Looks like a perfect Steadicam monitor to me... Daniel

Rob, I was with Verizon, and was very happy with the network, but did the switch and I don't regret it for a split second! The iPhone is just light years ahead of anything I have ever used. And by now, with the extra revenue ATT is enjoying, I think they are bettering their network. Welcome to the new millennium!!!

Just remember, after you unlock it, it does work with any carrier that uses the GSM system. So it would still not work with Sprint and Verizon in the States. I've heard of a few people that did unlock their iPhones and wanted touse Verizon. No can do... I used Ziphone to jailbreak mine and it unlocks as well, easy as 1,2,3... Dan

Wrong tool for the job. don't do it. with all the turbulence you re going to have inside, with the door removed, even the gyros are not going to cut it. In my opinion you are just going to be exposed to risks by using the Steadicam for this. Again, wrong tool... Daniel

In this world of software driven cameras, it's hard to be sure all versions are the same, but I have worked a few times with the Varicam, and it did flip the image. Did low mode that way, no probs... Daniel Stilling
