  1. Tiffen Ultra2 package, sled, monitors, G70 arm, Klassen Universal harness . Ultra good shape. I bought it new.

HD UltraBrite2 ten inch monitor (very good outside in the sun,) G70 arm, Klassen Universal harness (I was 5'9", 33" waist when it was made for meIMG_4606.thumb.jpeg.ee307c5ae7c6d546c55376d2b847db73.jpeg)

    Many extras!

Marshall spare 7" monitor and bracket (also bright and good outside.)

    Low mode bracket

MANY cables (I can list them for ya)

    Vehicle mount

Klassen soft bag for harness (I put the arm in there, too.)

Tiffen Thermodyne cases: two large ones and the smaller batteries/charger case

The side-to-side and fore-aft motors work, along with their remote controller

Six Tiffen Power Cube batteries and charger

I don't want to separate the package, although I might separate out the harness, if it just doesn't fit you, or you don't need it. I won't ship out of the continental USA. The package is in Indianapolis, IN, and you should come check it out.

I also have a Preston two motor system with lots of brackets and cables, but the MDR quit and Preston won't fix it. I haven't been able to find a replacement.

  5. I got one 3 weeks ago as a back up monitor (and hd monitor) for my pro. I'm doing a low budget feature so I thought I would use it for the run of the show (4 weeks) and give it a good test. I'm on week 3 and so far the thing is amazing. I don't find it too big either. I like the extra size (I don't think it weighs any more) and color is kind of cool. I have a PRO battery module 2 and hytron 50's. I haven't had any problems with power usage.

If I were to fault it for anything it would be this, when the angle is set correctly for normal height and you do severe booming or tilting, you have a slight loss of picture quality because of the angle. Now every monitor (tube or LCD) has this issue on some level but the LCD seems to be more sensitive to viewing angle than the tube. That being said, it's only a slight issue and it shouldn't effect your operating significantly.

As for problems with sun and bright light hitting the monitor (something I was concerned about) it is not an issue. When they say 'Ultra bright' they mean it. That thing is crazy bright.

    mm.

**A side note** I have had a PRO monitor for over ten years. I've never once needed a backup monitor. I did once show up to do a shoot in HD where (though I asked)

they did not bring a dow converter. I spent the day with somebody walking next to me holding a reference monitor to operate off of. The Boland (apparently) understands HD so it's a handy monitor for that reason alone.

    Mike:

What model Borland monitor did you get? And where? And how much? Thank you.

  6. I've been happy enough using a C-stand for my Master Elite, but you can't really ship it, and this week that meant a drive from the airport to a rental house just to rent one C-stand. And one sand bag.

Very embarrassing! The upside: They didn't charge me.

So, what are people using: I remember the American Beefy baby being popular... I carry everything up to Moviecams and 535Bs and HD cameras, so it has to be, uh, beefy

As I recall back when we did the Rockport workshops for CP. We had these cute little break apart steel C stands from matthews that fit nicely into the vest bag. Prolly not the beefest solution, but sure is better than nothing.

Yeah, I've got one of those, it bends like a palm tree in a hurricane; makes me nervous
