  1. This is a very cool device. Well done.... May I recommend that you consider a simple photo sensor relay on your sender half, so that it will work with any camera's existing tally light. There are too many eye piece connector types out there. I think it would be a more marketable item.

same as muhlstock . here we have many thomson grassvalley cameras on trucks of course with other connector than sony .

your system looks very good , make it in production , i order one .

  2. hi , I?ve been to the transvideo manufacturer last week to see the products they made .

i must say that they have made many interesting things for us .

like a cinemonitor 3 superbright 1400 nits that include a transmitter titan inside .

i've also see with my eyes that they made tests on the monitor for working at +80° to -50°

(avionic tests) and when the monitor is inside the temperature machine test my picture still on the monitor with the titan transmitter/receiver . very funny .

i've also find a very good bracket to fit a lcd on the master series without vibes like on other i have test . :)

    it was very interesting .

  3. 13 mm is very tiny ,

the 3A is 15.9 mm and the master 18.9mm

that i'm looking is on the g50 with what you says

there is some with 18.9mm post and some with 15.9mm (or 13mm)

does the change comes from the roller ring on the arm ? or does the change comes from the type of posts like a post adaptor and the roller ring is always the same ?

  4. finaly i've order one G50, it arrive in 3 weeks :) :D :) :D

can you confirm that the post fit in a master gimbal ?

it's larger than the 3A . if it fits on the ultra , then it goes on the master without any adaptor .

  5. i think your project is a good idea , it's a quick way to find something and compare instantly different materials , a good way to know what exist .

I?m not certain that complete rigs or arms , sleds are going to be sold with your site , operators want to check by themselves and test at the importation store or manufacturer , and then discus the price .

the useful thing will be all the brackets , wireless focus and video systems , zoom control , rain covers , lcd monitors ,screws (it's funny but when you have a CP out from usa , you cant imagine the difficulty to find a little screw in inch) well detail pieces that you look several times over the net to find them .

your site is the only one like that and it's a good help for operators that don?t have manufacturers at the corner of road .

  6. At least one with the BBC in England. Probably quite a few more.

    thanks robin .

i have try this arm at the workshop in france , and i was very impressed about the possibility .

i 'm about to change my arm for another , and i just look for review of people that are running this arm everyday .

  7. i've made that changes on my master too .

here in france there is not many AB use , it's more V-mount or Pag systems .

for more compatibility i have put PAG system .

dont be worry about changing it yourself , it's very easy .

i'm not electronical ingeneer , i dont know anathing in this , beleive me it's easy .

you need to make some holes (2 holes) , a little wiring of 2 cables one red one black , welding and isolate )

if you switch to pag , the pag socket is a little bigger than AB . you need to remove the little battery metter on the back of the sled . i've done this because i put a dual bubble level including a battery metter .

if you are interested in this i will release the mounting of the duale bubble internal , near the frameline generator of master series , with the buttons switchs external . i'm going to make some pictures of this release and put them here .

the dual bubble is the new marell in OEM version for integration .

  8. thanks rob , for your info .

the more power is usefull for me when i fly the big TX for live TV work , it's large like the big pag red brick .

not realy a problem . first i have tried with a adaptor AB to pag then the power plate . and it was not close enought to the sled , the adaptor takes 0.8 inch . but with the pag socket directly on the sled the uper batterie is at 6 inch from the center of the sled .

i agree with you for the teletest bracket , but it's the only one i have found for the master series at this moment .

it's sad because the design is good , maybe at bearbell hi can do near the same but stronger .

the teletest bracket is not in aluminium , it's made with elastic steels

  9. the master serie have a gimbal hole more larger than 3a,efp or provid arm , you may need a adaptor to fit the arm on the gimbal .

you may need a double provid arm of course , not a single one .

you can remove the big battery of the master and put a lithium pag,AB . or a double lithium it's less heavy than the big one provided with the master .

  10. something interesting for practice ,

set the lens near closeup mode (not to mutch) , set the focus to 4/3 meters .

do the movements (baseball caps idea of joe mcnally are good) and try to keep in focus .

this is helpfull to get a full precision work , not easy as fisheye operators .

    krashtest

  11. hi , thats me , not the scamer but the buyer of the arm and vest . sorry JobScholtze to have pass the final line before you .

i've been scamed , phished with ebay 3 or 4 times . to detect if the email comes from the real seller just use the username details of members and write directly to the email of the member .

this will help with hacked accounts .

for phishings just copy the link to forward of the *look real email* and copy it in a text editor , you are going to see the masked link .

i have not received the arm and vest yet but the seller looks clean as the arm i hope
