Hi This is an early V1 nexus base and you made need the spacers (1mm each side) I redesigned the base in the V2 & V3 versions slightly wider so this was possible - so if you want to invert your base and there is not enough room - I have spacers or just add 1mm on each side and you will be fine :-) The V3 can also do 45 degs and there is an Alt battery mount (If someone can let me know how to post photos I will show you) or you can email me for them Thank you Howard

Hi Alec Very nice mate :-) All AR's and Ωmega's can plug into any digital focus or Motion control system to operate the roll from a zoom or focus handset. It was tested 11 years ago (?) with the Mark Roberts System (moco) and it locks straight into there - there was (is) a small converter box that allow both Grey and Green motors on the rings to plug into 1 preston (1b 7 pin digital motor) cable. Hi Mark We use a new very high quailty bearing, not in any way tappered. Our gimbal works so well due to the quailty of machining. There are no adjustments - they either work or the are scrapped. Thank you Howard

If anyone has improved thier gimbal over the last few years it is MK-V we have it down to a science Custom jigs that tell us if a part is even a fraction of a thou out, if it is, it is scrapped - there are No shims in MK-V gimbals - just good solid machining. Like Pro and XCS. Our gimbals cost more to make than some peoples entire sleds. And for the record Eric you have not even seen our new gimbal let alone flown it? so I don't see how you can compare it?

Hi Guys Thank you for bring this up. Yes I was very aware, that sometimes in the past, we were not able to quite live up to some people’s expectations. And I wanted this changed. Obviously “it is not possible to please all the people all the time”, but I saw room for improvement. This is why I spent a lot of time and a lot of money to totally re structure the whole MK-V Group. Both options (lean and steer) are still available, however (Erwin) you are right and maybe confusing the original version of the Segway (XT) for the pedals is not longer made, but there are 1,000's still available. And all the parts, Batteries etc are still available. The new lean version is very simple to use and allows the op to step off from the front or back (or both) and the unit just sits there waiting - amazing. What can I say? - this is heart breaking news to me.. Jeff I can proudly say was true friend. It is hard to be sad as when I think of him all I can see is his smile and hear his laff. Jeff and I have been friends for years, and this year we worked together on my stand at NAB and Cinegear. We had such a great time together, he was one of the most child like people I know. (as in young at heart and mind) And a wonderful friend. Always a sparkel in his eyes and a big grin. Jeff was a true poineer in every sense of the word..... Miss you mate! H

Hi All This is not at all the case! We are restructuring the MK-V Group, due to expansion and investment. There is now - MK-V USA LLC MK-V Europe Ltd and MK-V ASIA. Simply - I have closed down the other older MK-V UK companies, Systems and Hire as they were no longer of use. This is all. plain and simple. Hi Guys Due to work commitments we chose not to have our own stand this year. We will be however on Mark Robert's motion control stand 11, 250 They have the P-R system on the Ulti-head and the ALL new motion control system as well - well worth a look. Hi Jeff Please if you or anyone needs info please can you email me direct howard@mk-v.com as I rarely visit this forum... The pin outs are the same as the PRO recorder output - BUT we have a voltage reg inside the V2 D-Box that is set to 5v - you can also have 7.2v, 9v or 12v on the power output. I do not have the info with me at the moment, but the video and power are the same as the PRO 0b 5 pin. I hope this is of some help. If you have any questions please email me Off forum. Hi Ben How are you? The Nexus has the same 1.5" mounting holes as the PRO (and Mk3/EFP) So the Tom @ cinewidgets dual cage would be the way to go. We have all the mounting parts on the shelf if you do not have them already. Give us a call. (01204 574900) Cheers Howard

Hi Mark How are you? The Op is Simon Wood and he uses the MK-V Nexus with MK-V/Hummingbird LCD. He does have the PRO arm and the Klassen Vest. The handsfree is the XT and he has the klassen Hard-mount. (which is very nice) Unfortunately - Simon like most of my clients is so busy and never visits here. next time I speak to him I will ask him to post. Hope this is some help. All the best Howard
