I as well bought one of the first 5. I use it on every job and its amazing. Afton craftsmanship is impeccable! Like Peter I get a lot of compliments on the box.

The only problem I have now is fighting for space with the assistants. Holds everything I need with room for coffee cups, water bottles and everything else you need throughout the day.

I have been using one for about 6 months on my rig. It is heavy and if you are in full sun it can be tricky to see at times. I took the plex cover off and it improved visibility a lot.

With that said I am looking to bite the bullet and get the new cinetronic. Plan to keep the Sony as a back-up.

I have been using the MK-V V3.5 electronics for a couple of months now and all of the RF interference from walkies has been fixed.

Howard is also manufacturing the V4 electronics with two dedicated HD-SDI outs.

For all the operators that have had the RF issue you should get the updated electronics.

Howard is upgrading V3 to V3.5 at cost to help resolve the issue.

Chris Konash who works for Panavision NYC runs a company called East Coast Cables.

He makes standard and custom cables for a ton of east coast ops including myself.

I go straight to him for all my repair and cable needs.
