FS Telescoping Steadicam Monopods
Nicholas Davidoff replied to Stefan von Bjorn's topic in Steadicam Marketplace - For Sale
Great work on the new poles Stefan! I have one of these and it's very handy to have in the kit. Nicely made, sturdy, reliable product. -
Cool. So what's the story with it? It's a stabilized mini remote head on Klassen suspender rig that can accommodate an Alexa 65. Sakamoto moves it and Chivo operates the head or does Sakamoto do it all?

Preston G3 board for an MDR2
Nicholas Davidoff replied to Nicholas Davidoff's topic in Steadicam Marketplace - Wanted
Got it, thanks! -
Yes, definitely interested in a cheaper, short range, additional receiver that will pick up a signal from the Bolt 2000 transmitter. Doesn't even have to be much smaller as the RX is small enough (but it would be a plus). There is definitely a demand for handheld director's and AC's monitors for use in close proximity to transmitter. In addition to the "Big" receiver with flat panel antenna as the main unit at the main video village. What say you on this topic Mike Gailing? PS - If I understand correctly, can I presently purchase a separate Bolt 2000 receiver so I can run two receivers off one transmitter?

Marell Digital Level
Nicholas Davidoff replied to Nicholas Davidoff's topic in Steadicam Marketplace - For Sale
Bump. $400 OBO -
Looking for a G3 circuitboard for an MDR2. This is the board that is removed when you do the G4 blue dot upgrade on the MDR. Got one laying around in your parts bin? I need one in good working condition. Please PM me. Thanks, ~ Nick

Marell DL-ADV for sale. It's in near mint condition and has very little use as I mostly used my bubble levels. Comes with an 8 pin to 8 pin power/video cable for GPI sled. Plugs on unit are 8 pin GPI compatible. Can connect you with a guy to make any cable for any sled configuration. Great little horizon indicator for all SD video. Here's a link to the website: http://www.marell.co.uk/accessories/DL-ADV/ $900 new, asking $500 or best offer. ~ Nick Please PM me. Can ship anywhere.

Preston to Cinetape interface cable

MDR2 -
A digital horizon would be HUGE! Wether internal or external sensor, as long as it works properly and can hold it's calibration through whip pans. Lack of a solid digital horizon indicator a big gaping hole in the class of steadicam monitors under $3K. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat. And yes, we're all aware of SmallHD's horizon indicator, but unfortunately it's useless and needs alot of work.

For sale: Boxx Meridien transmitter/receiver package. This has been my personal unit for the last two years and has been very well treated and taken care of. I own two of them and have decided to scale down my package. It's the top of the line HD transmitter system and still the strongest on the market. Included in package is: Boxx Transmitter with 4 antennas Boxx Receiver with 5 antennas Boxx 5 bank high gain antenna Antenna AC power supply 3 Boxx, Hiroshi to XLR power cables 1 Boxx, Hiroshi to 3 pin Arri power cable 4 spare Boxx transmitter antennas Anton Bauer battery spacer Nick Davidoff 310-567-9668

While other transmitters may be smaller and cheaper, it seems to me the Boxx Meridien is still the number one HD transmitter on the market right now for signal strength and reliability. Would this be correct to say? I've owned a Boxx for two years now and have had no technical issues. And a general eerie silence from video village most of the day. It's been great.
