  2. For Sale, One Great condition Bartech Focus Device (BFD) with FMG 6 Motor. This has been my back-up kit for a few years, and works flawlessly. There is some cosmetic wear from use but nothing out of the ordinary. The package comes as pictured and as follows.

    -1x BFD Handset (SN: T1.0241)

    -1x BFD Receiver (SN: R1.0241)

    -BFD Receiver and Handset antennas

-Soft case and zipper bag for BFD and Cables

    -FMG 6 Motor

    -4 FMG 6 Motor Gears (Pitches: 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8)

-All rod adapter hardware that originally comes with the FMG 6 Motor Kit

-Custom Foam cut hard case for the FMG 6 Motor, Gears, and Accessories.

-Neck Strap with custom BFD mounting bolt

    Cables: Lemo

    -2x BFD to FMG 6 power/control cables ($280.00 value)

    -2x Panavision Start/Stop cables ($400.00 value)

-2x Panavision power supply cables ($400.00 value)

    -1x lemo splitter ($100.00 value)

If i'm running power to the receiver 2 pin lemo to 2 pin lemo, I've been connecting the two panavision power supply cables through the splitter...works great, but you have about 3 feet of cable then. If you want a shorter 2 pin lemo power jumper cable you can get them from jim @ Bartech Engineering, or just make your own.

All in all, this kit goes for $3930 new, I'm asking $2650 for all. I'm charging $50.00 for shipping with insurance for the lower 48 U.S. States. If you are outside the lower 48 U.S., then please contact me so I can get you a direct shipping quote.

  3. Link to ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320516043674&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_660wt_1167

3 recently re-celled Anton Bauer batteries, and a PAG AR 304 auto-ranging fast charger. Also included is the charger power supply, and a new 4 pin XLR to Anton Bauer gold plate...for charging the batteries.

All three of the batteries are Pro pac 14 logic series Ni Cad 14.4 volts. One of the batteries is 60 watt hours, and two are 65 watt hours. The 65 watt hour batteries are "interactive digital," so they have a digital read out of how much power is left on the battery.

    Battery description:

the ProPac14 is a 14.4 volt 65WH NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) battery. Video professionals around the world, recognize the ProPac14. The high energy output of the ProPac14 is highly recommended when powering the UltraLight-2 (UL-2) and a camcorder simultaneously.

    Premium Cells

Unlike conventional cells that are stressed or damaged by fast charging, these cells are designed specifically for optimum life and performance.

    High Voltage Design

The 14.4V design of the Logic Series batteries complies precisely with equipment manufacturers' specifications, eliminating all of the problems that prevent 12V batteries from performing optimally.

    IMPAC Case

An internal rib system cradles each individual cell. These features protect the cells from impacts that would damage or destroy conventional batteries.

    Gold Mount

The solid metal "H" design mounting studs assure a smooth, precise mounting to whatever equipment it is attached to.

    Charger description:

The AR-304 is a four position NiCd battery charger. Designed to fast charge battery belts ranging from 12 to 30 volts DC. The AR-301 incorporates PAG ACS (Advanced Charging System) technology, which allows the AR-304 to analyze the batteries current condition, and determine the proper charging regime.

    • "PigTail" adapter cables are available to mount many of the major professional battery manufacturers systems to the four front panel XLR 4-pin connections.

    Intelligent Charging Technology

The AR-304 includes many intelligent ACS (Advanced Charging System) programs, which work like a triage. The battery condition is determined, analyzed, and treated accordingly.

    Worldwide Voltage

A built-in high frequency switch-mode power supply adjusts automatically to accept worldwide power voltages.

  4. I purchased a new Modulus 5000 at the end of 2009. (a last minute dash for write-offs) Since then I've purchased a Camwave and am going to stick with that. Asking for what I paid ($1,995), and will ship for free to the lower 48 US States. It comes with antenna, and intenuator. (I repeat, this is a new, never used item)

    Photos upon request.

    Thanks,

    Joe Fitz

  5. I last used this monitor about a year ago. It malfunctioned on a shoot so I sent it into Tiffen for repair. By the time it was cleaned out and made new again I had bought a new monitor and kept this one around for a backup. I'm letting it go. Some ware on the edges, but still a very clean and perfectly working monitor. The Master Series monitor mounting cradle hardware is included. Asking $1,000, buyer pays shipping.

    Photo's upon request.

    Thanks,

    Joe Fitz

  6. Master Series Vest is in great shape and aside from light cosmetic wear (see photos) everything is in excellent mechanical working order. Fully adjustable to fit almost any body type. Buckles have been upgraded to click-lock type so they lock in snug and firm and adjustments are easy. Great vest for any medium to heavyweight rig. I am the second of its meticulous anal retentive owners, and the pads are a little over 2 years old and recently cleaned...still has that new vest smell. I've used it maybe 10 times in the past 2 years.

Comes with and extra click-lock buckle, and a vest bag. (the bag is a steadicam vest bag but it has been put through the ringer, I purchased it separately from a friend. Bag padding is still in good shape.)

Asking $2700. Make me an offer.

Ships from Chicago, buyer pays shipping.

  7. Thank You Everyone!

I looked into all of the options, and they were all great. However, I went with the VLS bracket and it worked perfectly! The HPX500 did not have the option to flip the image during recording, nor do I have the option to flip my monitor, which is something I'm saving up to remedy. Also, those vfgadgets handles looked great but I was working a personally owned camera and the owner was wanting to keep everything stock...and one handle was more expensive than the VLS.

    Thank You so much everyone!!!!

p.s. I climbed Maccu and Waynu Picchu...it was incredible!
