  6. Hi Eric, May I ask how to get to your level to hold the rig that longer? What exercise will help? I can carry 25kg for an hour without problem. I have not tried 40kg. I thought that might kill me. TIA Regards Leigh

Regards Leigh When I flew it on "Family Affair" equipped with the Telecast Copperhead box, Canon HD Short Zoom, Arri MB-18, the Aladdin follow focus prototype (For Iris control) and three focus motors the camera came to be 44" long and 46 lbs. Add the sled suit and arm and it was a 90lbs beast

  14. Hi Eric, You are right that I have no experience with any rigs listed here. Do you want to offer me a free try for all these rigs? :D I guarantee that I won't cause you trouble if I hurt myself using these rigs. :P I suggest that ultra one is that I think ultra one offer remote head control and iso-elastic arm which I think is quite good feature. Anyway that is just my view.   16. There's a video published by "Award Winning Workshops" entitled "Advanced Steadicam Techniques". It's the only training type video on Steadicam that I know of. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you if it's worth its price ($90USD). Perhaps someone else here has actually seen it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I own that video. It is worth the price. Regards Leigh

  22. How this digital recorder compare to a a notebook? A notebook normally has 15inch lcd screen with 80G or more hard disk depends on your choice which can record DV avi input from firewire 1394 connection which is good quality than mpeg2. Regards Leigh

  24. Hi David, I checked the page and I have a question. It seems that the product specification does not mention about record the video just as normal DV AVI file format. I don't like divx, mpeg2 format as the quality will not be recovered in the post production. Do you know anything about that? TIA Regards Leigh
