  1. WTB part 4330 which is the bracket to connect older style microforce to HU-1 hand unit. Please have a dig around in your cases and see if you have one to send my way. Regards, Matt Temple.
  2. Hi all. I'm after a used front mount vest to have as a back-up. A Master Series vest is familiar to me, but I'm open to suggestions. Many thanks, Matt Temple. Australia.

    Pro vs G70

Can anyone offer a comparison of the Pro arm and a G70? I have always used a Masters iso-elastic arm and loved it, but Pro owners always rave about their arms. I will try to test fly them both, but would be interested to hear from someone who has experienced them both, and benefit from their wisdom. Thanks, Matt Temple. Australia.
  4. Interested in hearing from anyone with an Isoelastic arm for sale. Either here or email me direct. <matthewtemple@exemail.com.au> Thanks, Matt.
  5. Oh, also..... The Master mount that I bought from transvideo had a really wussy ball head on it that could barely bold the monitor up. I bought a new ball head from manfrotto which screwed straight onto the Master block. Much better.
  6. Thanks Rick. After posting that message, I went out and bought one anyway! I was using it on a Hi Def TV series, and it was great. All the features you mentioned are great, plus the option of colour and Green screen. I'm now on a 16mm job, and was having trouble with balance in pre production and went back to my crt monitor, and have my cinemonitor as a spare for now. Having sorted out some other issues with my rig, I may give the Cinemonitor another go. That voltage warning feature is just great, the power saving, the freeze frame, etc etc.... Thanks again, Matt. p.s. Dave, I'm not sure, hope someone else knows that stuff.
  7. Hey Jake, I'm in regular contact with both Phil and Louis. They have both been priceless in helping me get ready for my current gig ( a three month shoot for a mini series ). I do however like to occasionally cast a wider net to benefit from the wisdom of people from around the globe. It has been my experience since stepping into the world of steadicam, that to ask a question about it will invite many different points of view. One then needs to sieve through those views and find the one that sits easiest with your own situation. Also, as i mentioned, phil has been most helpful with my many Masters mysteries recently, and I'm trying to avoid ringing him every five minutes with a new problem! I may however call him soon on this one, so be warned Phil! I've been reading your posts Jake. Most entertaining. Keep rockin' Matt.
  8. My Masters arm makes a pinging noise when extended. Has any one else experienced this problem? Matt.
  9. I'm considering using the Transvideo Cinemonitor III as an addition to my Master Elite, and they have a bracket to suit. Anyone have an opinion on the Cine III for this situation?
  10. Woah, your rig is wild! Thanks for that pic, it's worth a thousand words! I'm inspired. I'm also considering using the Transvideo Cinemonitor III as an addition to my Master, and they actually have a bracket to suit. Anyone have an opinion on the Cine III for this situation? Matt.
  11. Can anyone tell me, is it possible to mount a teletest monitor on a master series rig? It sounds like a good monitor. Any reflections?
