Hi,

i just got my baer-bel Sony Plate through the post. Only took 2 days to get to me (German to UK)

I honestly have to say that its a great plate. There is no play or movement of any kind when you lock your digi down tight.

Takes no time at all to fit and its light as a feather.

Great to fly with!

I am in my third year of university and writing my dissertation on Steadicam and the representations of the American Soldier in Vietnam War films.

One film i am looking at is Kubricks Full Metal Jacket. I cant really find anything on Jean Marc Bringuier role as a Steadicam op in this film. I can see the shots but i want to know more about the operators intention and ideas as he took the shot.

As a result i thought i would try and contact Jean Marc Bringuier. I cant seem to find any details on line.

Does anyone personally know him or have any idea how i can get hold of him.
