  1. I don't think I'd sacrifice my regular drop time to facilitate just 1 minute of being inverted out of a 23 minute oner. If you can, try and design the 1-minute upside down shot so that the action happens within a frame you can hold.

While inverted, I would also put my operating hand higher ”up” (down) the post away from the gimbal towards your lower electronics housing to fight the pendulum effect of a “top” (bottom) heavy sled. Once you spin back, operate normally. This shot would also benefit from using gyros.

    Just my 2 cents.

  2. I picked this case up a few years ago for a pro 2 sled I no longer own. This is an original Pro sled case. Overall, it’s in pretty good shape. It does need to be re-formed but the ply is still in great condition.

Shoot me an offer. Barter, cash, beer are all acceptable forms of payment on this one :)

    Cheers!

  4. This bracket is in amazing condition. I was never able to use it because my set up was a 1.5” post with a Pro gimbal. If you own a large Steadicam sled then this is for you.

    Comes with:

    • Tiffen Steadicam Docking Bracket with 3/4" balancing stud and locking pin.

    • Tool holder that screws into the side of the dock

    • NEW never used Tiffen Steadicam Docking Collar for 1.685" posts (bottom post on Ultra & Clipper 24 for docking in low-mode; not sure what other posts it fits)

For clarification, this dock is for larger Steadicam brand sleds like the M1, Ultra, Clipper, etc. The balancing stud will not work on pro or 3A gimbal handles.

  6. Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

I have a few broadcast items that came with my sled. I’m trying to get an estimate of what they are worth. Pictured below: 8’ triax cable with Fischer 1051 connectors, an HDTV 9’ jumper with Fischer 1053 connectors and end caps, and a custom made tally. The tally has two sections, the round “electronics housing” has LED’s around the entire rim for the camera, a 3pin lemo for power, (I have an Mk-v sled) a light sensor as well as a separate carbon fiber strip with LED’s for the monitor. I’d like to know the value of these items. As always, all information is greatly appreciated. Have a great day.
