  1. Hello every one, I am traveling with my Steadicam pilot from Toronto to Jamaica. What is the best way to travel with it? I am not sure if I want to just give to luggage department just in its own bag, I was wondering if there is any sort of hard case that I can put the pilot bag in and then check that in??? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Pouyan Fard
  2. Hello Everyone, I just got my Pilot a few days ago. I live in Toronto and there would be a while before the workshop comes here. I was wondering if there is anyone interested in tutoring me a bit on Balancing, operating and etc.... I can not pay a lot of money but I can pay you some money and will pay in big amounts of karma and a few cold beers. I can come to you and make myself available to your schedule. Please let me know thanks Pouyan 416-509-7883
  3. Hello I just ordered my Pilot (and I am very excited to get it). I was hoping if some one can recommend me some instructional DVD or book anything that can get me started a bit faster. I am going to take the official course but it would be a few months till it is held in Toronto again. Thank you all in advance Regards Pouyan Fard
  4. Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone know where is the best place to buy a Pilot from in Toronto? Do I have to contact Tiffen? Can you find the B&H rates in Canada? Thanks alot Pouyan
  5. Hello I am thinking of getting a Pilot but I was wondering if anyone know how good is the screen (the big one) that comes with it. Is it a green one or ??? thanks a lot Pouyan
  6. Hello I am looking to buy a Pilot to use with my Canon XH A1. I will be using it for mostly wedding and am hoping to start doing some short and indie films with it when I get good at it. I live in Toronto and I want to know how much does a steadicam op/owner get paid per gig and how hard is it to get a few gigs so I can pay the Steadicam off. Please not that i don't want to make a carrier of this and I will happy if I make my $4000 back in a year. Any advise, suggestion and recommendations is truly appreciated. thanks
