  1. Awesome laser rangefinder system, Selling as my regular renter has acquired their own solution. this is the MK 2 version. works well, and was owned by James Tanaka before i acquired it 3 years ago. Asking 4500.00 USD Comes with cables for pani, arri 24V , arri 12 V, manual, case, This price is about half what i paid for it used, New Sniper MK III's are about 13,000.00 FAQ's it will NOT tie into the wireless interface for new Preston or the PLC remote Display, it is a wired display only. Lasers are all talent eyeball safe, infra red is completely invisible, only the sighting laser is visible when toggled on, low power red laser, also most safe for digital camera imagers. This unit read a very small target, shoots through clear glass, and has hundreds of feet of range....super fast update, very accurate. lighter than it looks, cases are plastic and carbon fiber.
  2. Peter. i believe i had a blue box charger melt a battery down once and turn it into quite an impressive smike bomb as the insulation vaporized. It was very dramatic as the smoke was spitting out of the four holes. I remember throwing it into a snowbank, hot to the touch as it shorted out. i think i ripped the end off and cut the leads to stop it. that was the end of the blue box quick charger,......
  3. funny i just had to rig a wireless telprompter out of my old canatrans and Camos just yesterday for a commercial.....
  4. i like it....must consider bvefore the corporate year end..... whats the lead time on a build if the original 10 are all sold?
  5. I agree that this a growing problem of non adherance to procedure where the director calls action before the slate. IN many instances i know they are distracted with other production isues, especially if they are also the producer, and it seems that AD's are not as willing to reinforce the proceedure as they once were.
  6. I'm sort of in the Jerry camp, but i do keep a small superman logo on the back of my harness, one of my assistants gave it to me yeas ago and its discrete. I used to have a red welsh dragon on the now retired, TB-6 monitor, and a few memorabilia stickers, panavision etc. I did have an instance where the superman sticker, that i really had forgotten was there, create a respnse from a higher up, that DC comics were bullshit, ( hes a Marvel guy 100%) and I had to retell the story. Jerry is right, everything can promote weird criticism from anyone, you just dont know. I once got a derogatory remark form a director, now passed on so i can relate the story, that I was still flying just a greenscreen, meaning my TB-6. I told him that i owned a LCD but preferred the greenscreen for opeerating in strong daylight. This is a buisness of weird personalities , and inflamed egos, unfortunately. Brad.
  7. Charles perhaps a little help form the gore link in this regard?
  8. TB- 6 is great. sorry about the mishap. im keeping mine , sometimes the LCD doesnt cut it in the glare.

  11. I'm selling one of my Jerry Hill Arri 435 lo mode brackets. New, these cost 575.00 US. The articulating rosette allows for severe tilt in the shot, very useful for superpost shots! Asking 400.00 USD. Paypal preferred.
