JULY 8, 2008 UPDATE: Just a quick update on the Steadicam Flyer rig that I have for sale. There continues to be interest in this rig but no firm offers yet. Several potential buyers have asked where I am located. The answer is Ohio. Here is the description: Steadycam Flyer (model kit FNVLB ) for sale. The kit includes the factory case, Steadicam 7" color TFT-LCD 16x9 and 4x3 standard monitor/500 nits/NTSC & PAL auto select (including monitor owner manual), vest, T-handle allen wrench for gimbal adjustment, docking bracket, mount plate, BNC to BNC video cable, power cable (4 pin XLR to small 2 pin Lemo), Tiffen Stradi Stand, IDX battery mount sled, factory supplied training video, and Steadicam (Mini) operating manual (shipped with new unit). Batteries and charger are NOT included. The unit has been used primarily inside, and has never been in rain or harsh conditions. I have been the sole owner/user of the rig. Price Reduction I've had some nibbles on this rig but no deal yet, but I want to get it sold at the right price. Before I list this on ebay, I want to make sure that the price is competitive and so I'm lowering it here on this forum by $500. That would bring the current asking price to: $5,495.00. The grey arm (including velvet cover) has been upgraded with the factory retrofit kit. The unit has been used primarily inside, and has never been in rain or harsh conditions. I have been the sole owner/user of the rig. It is essentially like new. Everything is in excellent running and cosmetic order. I am reluctant to sell as it has been a reliable friend. It is my understanding that the current version of this Flyer model is now the F24LEVLNN Flyer 24LE which includes V Mount sled and lists for $7,995.00 (battery kit is extra).
