  1. Hi, Batteries are still available - I'd be happy to take $1600 US if you are still interested.
  2. Hi, Unfortunately my charger isn't a smart one, but I'll see if can can borrow one to find out the battery %
  3. Hey thanks Grayson, I didn't know the history of the Power Cube :) and in the time i've owned them I've not had to look at buying any other batteries so I'm definitely a bit out of touch. I guess when I got them they were still exclusive to Tiffen. Anyway, based on this new information I am of course open to any sensible offers on the batteries and charger.
  4. Hi, I bought the batteries with my rig in 2008 - They have not had heavy usage as I worked in other roles as well as operating. In that time the kit was only dry hired once, and that was last year for a couple of days. Thea reason for the price? To be honest, I know what they cost me and the price I'm asking in considerably less, but I didn't check current prices so I'm open to offers. Thanks, Chip
  5. Hi Jake, The case was from here - Spider Cases I did the dividers myself.
  6. Hi, 4 Power Cubes, charger and flight case still available. Looking for about £1900. (Flightcase has a dent in the back, but the kit was not in the case at the time of damage)
  7. The Archer has now SOLD! But I still have 4 Power Cubes and charger for sale.... open to offers
  8. Hi folks, I got very distracted with another project, but I'm back now and the Archer is still for sale if anyone is interested. Make me an offer.... :)
  9. Hi, Further details now available at: www.tomboli.co.uk
  10. Hi Chip,

Just want to know when you will be able to load some pics of the your Archer rig?

I am really interested to see what the condition f the rig is.

    kind regards

    Rupert Nel

  11. Hi, I've had a long term employment opportunity has come up, so I've decided to sell my rig as it would rather see it out being used than stuck in storage. I'll post full details soon, but for now if anyone is interested it's a Steadicam Archer I with everything as was supplied originally plus 4 Power Cubes & charger. I'll add kit list and photos soon, thanks, Chip Hampshire, UK
  12. I've answered my own question Joe at http://www.joesjibs.co.uk is of course the UK baer-bel guy...
  13. Hi Afton, that is a very good point. I would indeed want the best. The reason for the choices is that they are all rigs i have recently seen for sale. I would expect the Archer to be nearly new, but the the master rigs to be 'much loved'. I too know little about the baer-bel other than what i've read on this forum. Are there any UK baer-bel operators?
  14. hi, after a little investigating my it seems there are several potential rig options. I have operated before, although some years ago. I'm familiar with 3a and master series. I have a budget of approx £10,000. I'm based in the UK. I would expect to be flying 16mm film, DVcam and broadcast video. (and eventually 35mm hopefully, but not immediately). based on on the above, what do you think.....
  15. Thanks Rick, So what the general opinion on the Baer-Bel rig? I now nothing about this type of rig, but based on the pictures it looks great, plus it's ready to go straight out of the case. Also - another question... Power-wise am i right in thinking most video cameras - including broadcast, run 12v and most film run 24v?
