  1. Yeah. I saw that on facebook the other day... http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=10150153191969061&id=75451039060&aid=303459
  2. "Parcel may be declared in customs documents with any price you want" isn't that illegal? jw
  3. Just to clarify: Steadicam Operator = GQ Model
  4. I'd take the last three double-chocolate chip cookies left in the house!
  5. ? http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12603&st=0&p=59314&hl=dance&fromsearch=1entry59314 But it's John Perry ( johnperry.tv )
  6. I don't want to rudely interrupt you Lars... However: http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12216 :D Henry
  7. The world of Steadicam is soooo incomplete without a ph.D in the forum. Just kidding. No, Lars is totally right! Within the last few months, people use our forum to "hide" advertisements in their posts (currently being discussed in a different topic I think) and now that... cr*p? Hmmm... any opinions? 8. Jeez. It's almost time to create a World Cup topic here! But seriously! Freaking dangerous to operate down there! Be aware of players spitting on you, players running into the Steadicam, Rooney yelling at you and of course... Gabriel Heinze!
  9. Okay, agreed! :) But yeah... I mean, one soccer match... I'm pretty sure they don't to any rehearsals! So technically it's "only" a 90min show
  10. Hi Bo Cool to have one of the World Cup operators on board! It has been brought to my attention by another operator, that some of you guys got a local rig. It sounded plausible to me, due to some missing equipment such as the zoom control. Even though I have already seen some "zoom work" done by the operator. How many operators are working on that event? Henry
  11. What I heard is, that some of the operators don't own their own rig. They show up as partial trained operators and a local broadcasting station "donates" a Tiffen rig. And that's just the plain rig. No extras such as a zoom gun or a Preston FI+Z
  12. Yeah... Usually after the game, when all the players gather around on the field and party, you can sometimes see the Steadicam. They are often Tiffen rigs. G70 arm, Tiffen vest and a Clipper I guess. Even though I have seen one operator with a PRO Arm and WK-Vest. Couldn't identify the whole rig though Henry. Oh yeah Bryan! Hope you'll cheer for Germany on Saturday! :D
  13. Oh yah! Sorry Sydney! I forgot to quote the spammer... My bad. Henry
  14. Overall, good demo but I really have to say... there are more Tiffen rigs now, than everything else! I mean, few years ago we had a small rig (Flyer) and a big rig (Ultra) Now it appears to be small, small-medium, medium, medium-big, bigger, and big Henry "Ultrazephyrphantomflyermerlinpilot" Gelhart
  15. I guess a certain Apple employee will end up looking for a new job pretty soon... That's not only embarrassing for Apple but also pretty dangerous! This dude can do pretty much everything with it... such as selling it to competitors. ANYWAYS... I think it looks kinda cool and apparently has a bunch of new features such as two cameras... Well my old phone back in 2005 also had two cameras but whatever Henry "Gonna get a 4G soon" Gelhart
  16. I feel so sorry for the 5D... But yeah... I'm looking forward to put the Pana-Genocide on that rig
