Ive had ground loop issues with my Pro1 when running 24v, blowing up my decimator. Although stupidly I was powering the converter off the AUX port. Got a new 12v only cable made and now power off cam power.

Im going to post something that I shot that I do believe stinks, it had so much potential but just ended up a bit meh.

Alexa, Cooke s4 25mm, my first and only Alexa Single take. Framed for 16:9 and cropped in post by the record label not being happy you could see the floor. It was either see the floor with the camera at her correct height or be slightly low and loose some floor. I dont think post animated the frame to fix headroom issues either, they just cropped straight over it. Label was on set too with an HDSDI link going to village. Painful.

The video is good, but as Charles points out in the other thread, framing is all over the place. Headroomwhat?

Is it the full size Kipro or the KiPro mini you are using?

Jance was right, we are movement specialists, we should know about the technology, when it works, when it doesn't. I wasn't saying we should all run out and buy Movi's Thomas.

Janice is right, we are movement specialists. I was luckily enough to have the opportunity to be in the right place and time when a production company I freelanced too purchased a Movi. It was bought for user under a Multirotor UAV (Freeflys original implementation).

Since its arrival i've put every camera I can get my hands on into it, Epic, C300, BMD, FS100, 5D and i've played a lot with the hand held mode. Balance, yes its tricky but with my steadicam balance knowledge its not hard, the whole unit just has to be neutrally balanced. I am now happy to have a conversation with a producer and explain to what tool is right for the job, the movi or my pro.

I really dislike the unit handheld. Majestic mode is terrible and as everyone has said getting production to pay for 2 (actually 3) operators is hard. Under our Multirotor however, the Movi is worth every cent. Flying the epic has now become a breeze and we're fielding calls from all over the country for aerial work.

I hang my arm off that Silver Pin you can see in Lawrence's photo on the Hill Bracket.. the pin fits perfectly into the hole in most arm posts.. almost as if it was designed for that :)
