Thanks to Rich for his help, as well as Mike Williams at Anton Bauer for saving me time and money by helping me fix the problem over the phone. It sure helps to work with companies that follow through with their customers. I know that my next batch of batteries will be Anton Bauer, mostly because of their performance, but also because of their great customer service. Thanks again.

One of my Anton Bauer TWQ four position chargers has developed a snag after four-plus years of constant use. One of the ports shows a solid red light when a battery is placed on it. I’ve tried multiple batteries, but the same thing happens (and the batteries I’ve placed on it charge without issue on the three other ports and also my three other TWQ chargers). I’m wondering if there is a place in Los Angeles that services Anton Bauer chargers, as it seems this is an issue with the charger, not my batteries.

I think the silence may be speaking volumes.
I have always sent mine back to AB in CT. You need to download a Repair return sheet from their website, and fill it out. Repairs usually took a couple of weeks-ish. Good luck Brooks.

It was an exhausting and exhilarating couple of days shooting this project--some of these guys were musical heroes of mine since I was a teenager, others I had barely heard of but being in close proximity to this level of musicianship was an experience I will never forget.

I am not a fan of the Switronix V mount adapters as they are very heavy for what they are. IDX AB to V mount plate much lighter , not much more money. I don't know if IDX has a pass through as suggested here by Jens.

For around town and on the camera truck, I use a large LL Bean bag. Cheaper, Pick your colors, large enough I don't have to re size vest to fit vest in like the Tiffen bag.(but it is not padded) My .02 cents.
When on the road I drop the bag into a hard ATA shipping case.

It was for the follow focus receiver to plug into. Either a Seitz or a WC 4 . No idea of pin outs but they connect to motorcable lemos connectors on top j box.

Can you switch units to give the DIT the (more powerful )HU2 handset and the AC focuses with the(less powerful) F/I unit? Just trick the units by making iris focus and focus iris. (DIT has to use the knob instead of slider for iris though)We do that as the DIT is always further away than the AC. Helps a lot.... Doesn't completely solve it but cuts the hits way down. Then try to get the DIT to power down after he sets the stop. That WILL eliminate the problem.

Does anyone have a down converter that is not an Aja that I can rent/borrow this weekend for Monday, as they asked me back after I stripped off the TB 6 and rigged up an onboard assistants monitor on my rig. I ended up with no digital level and really no level reference.
I hear there is a very small red colored down converter that works very well. I'm just looking to show up with more options than what I left there tonight with.

Kudos to Jason Gill for finding that classic Youtube behind-the-scenes clip and posting it a few weeks ago, in this thread.

Highly recommend the weight plate/cages that Janice Arthur is making. They come in a variety of weights from 2 lbs to 15 lbs per plate. Lots of countersunk holes , iris rod mounts, comes with mounting screws etc. Well machined and fast on shipping.
